Mr September. It is time to shine
Finished the season with a cheeky 19 coaches votes in the last 2 games.
Rocketed to 15th with the final two rounds. They only showed the top 10 after that.
Anyone have any idea where he finished? Had to be top 20 again.
Average player rating of 20.21 since the Adelaide game, Bontempelli's season average is 19.60.One of the talking points ahead of the EF was that arguably the best player in the league was playing in this game and the opposition would need to find a way to contain him if they were to be a shot at winning.
Obviously the talk was about Bontempelli, but maybe it should have been about this guy instead. What a clinic he put on.
Knew it. BeastMr September. It is time to shine
Interesting, left handed.
The only bad thing he did on the night was breaking Josh Ward's nose.
When did that happen? Completely missed it.
Top 10 players of teams still in the finals, most recent form.

Newc is averaging 31 disposals at 81% DE, 365 metres gained, 10 ground ball gets, 4 centre clearances, 8 total, 1 goal assist and 10 score involvements a game.
If he can get another goal a game they're virtually identical numbers to Petracca 2021, just with better DE.
We need to wrap him in bubble wrap to protect our other players. His teammates need to stay away from him. Just celebrate within safe distance and DON'T go for the same ball either.
He had an inconsistent start but he almost single handedly dragged us over the line against Collingwood in Round 4, and was best on in Round 6 against North. Feel his early season woes were over sold. After a slow start to the year Duke's hitting top gear at the right time. He does like playing the Doggies, though.
He's massively underrated by non Hawks, being a MSD pick up, but still as a load of upside, with a long career ahead. Big, strong, tough, skilled and durable. Also a very fair player, without a big ego, who is prepared to role play for his team. So glad he is a Haw!
