Had a few dodgy handballs but can't question his effort. Was one of the only players who turned up in the first half. Singlehandedly was carrying our midfield until they switched on in the second half.

Having a wonderful season.

That’s why we can’t trade him.

Duke, Day and Nash have higher ceiling but Worps is our engine.

Can people stop posting about the few poor skill errors of Worps every single time!! İt's like as if, the rest of the midfielders are pure silk who don't make mistakes!!
When a bloke is busting a gut week in week out , getting so much of the ball , he's bound to make a few errors.
İmo, he has been enormous this year.

If I applied those to myself, I'd delist myself from life...

I think we can safely say that James Worpel has not become known as the player we passed up Joel Garner for. Because who or what is Joel Garner? He probably would have become known as the player we passed up Joel Garner for if Joel Garner was anything like the great West Indian fast bowler of the same name, but he didn't.

I'm not a religious man, but we can also thank God that Worpel has saved his career. I always thought trading O'Meara and Mitchell would allow Worpel the freedom he needs to return to his 2019 best, and that belief of mine has proven true. He's such an inside beast, and the first half of yesterday was the perfect illustration of that. We need Worpel at his best, so it's good to see he's back in town.
He’s a bit shorter than Joel , Malcolm Marshall might be a better yard stick

Welcome to Jamaica Have a Nice Day

Been excellent at the coalface along with Nash! All the while Day and newc get to spread out from contests a bit more. THİS has been the change up in our stopagges lately, no more 5 mids getting sucked into the contest. The centre clearences seems to have precedence which is fair enough but not so much around the ground. Not sure just yet, but, it does have similar set up that Clarko bought in midway 2015 to me. We went from top 2 clearences team in the first 10 games (6&4) to mid table to go onto smash our way to another premiership.
Be interesting to see if that's the case in coming weeks.

And oh yeah, Worps has been extremely important in all this.
