Society learns over time how to make things better as a ever changing culture and Hawks have the right people there now for Indigenous kids and it’s a learning curve for everyone to take on board and respecting boundaries for our kids and also teaching non indigenous kids that respecting boundaries are a healthy thing for all of us in society to do and make better for the future.Hilly feel free not to touch this one if it’s a sensitive issue - but mind if I ask - given the highly publicised issues that are going through the courts was there an evident culture in the club that is there now that a young Indigenous kid and his family have no concerns coming to the club? Just curious if it was addressed during the recruitment talks.
