I got one of his games done before his injury:

For a player his size he moves so well, hands are very good, could train him into a long term more defensive Isaac smith, looks like a Blicavs pick and we know Sam loves that type

Does anyone know his combine scores for 2km and repeats?

The next Sam Taylor?

Interesting pick up. Not the cleanest player, he will miss short options, handballs like hot patoto and for a guy his height, he has a knack of letting the ball hit the ground instead of attacking at full tilt in the air so, don't be fooled by his height, isn't that great one on one. May be, hopefully he developes into a KP but will take fair bit of time. I've loved our drafting in the last 5-6 years, wanting Mackenzie and Ward plus hit jackpot with Weddle, McDonald and Day. Really miffed with this one , but with 4-5 years spent developing at BH will work wonders for him
So, welcome to the greatest club in the land young man , hope you go well.

High upside, worth the punt at this stage of our development. Surely we can see either he or McCabe having forward potential otherwise he doesn't make much sense at this pick though with our large depth of defenders. I'm intrigued by this selection.
Makes perfect sense. KPDefenders take a while and he's learning from the best in Barrass, Sicily, Frost. By the time one of those three retire he'll be ready to go. Perfect succession planning.

Reminds me of a taller version of Charlie Ballard from the Suns with his build - and that kid can play.

Just from seeing those highlights, he reads the ball very well as a defender so it was like the the ball carrier was kicking to him on a lead. I think he could very easily transform from defender to forward, which is hopefully what the club sees as well.

Love the write-up here:

Rather than risk injury by forcing himself to play he focussed on the combine and spent time coaching at Dandenong. Sounds like he has a good head on his shoulders.
Gave Roughy vibes in his interview ( personality wise) which means I’m already taking a bullet for him

I'm told it was a 3rd (49) and F2 for 35 and a F4.
Not a great deal when the f4 is the eagles. Could have taken Dodson Alger Davis under that scenario and had 2 x f2 to trade up given the volume of academy players. I wonder if we asked for one of their 3 x f1s instead.
