Midfield looked confident without him yesterday which is great
Yup, and was great to see Newk dominate. If you could critique his season it would be that he had a slow start. Which I think many laid at the feet of Days absence. For him to play well without Day was great to see. Great seeing Frenchie get more time in the guts too.

What’s the prognosis on the shoulder? Nobody seems to be able to give clear feedback about the state of the injury (the injury list has said TBC since he injured it). Everyone was excited about it not being a break yet here we are looking like he’s going to miss four games (counting the bye as a game). Is he done for the year? Is the prelim an option? Would we bring him straight into a grand final? It’s really frustrating. Finals is Will Day’s time to shine. We need him back out there this weekend!

Someone last week mentioned that his injury which is more common in NFL is something players can come back from in 4 weeks but every player is different. If he’s out they’ll announce it early.

When you say 4 weeks do you mean misses four weeks (returns 5 weeks from time of injury) or misses 3 weeks (returns 4 weeks from time of injury). If it’s the latter he should be back this weekend.

The injury is not some something you usually see occur in AFL players and I'd assume it would be the NFL front line blockers player that cop that type of injury. The thing is those NFL players don't have to run around the way Will Day would for as long as he does. The comment was that it's around a 1 month injury layoff so all we can unfortunately do is wait.
