This reeks of North offering us Matt Campbell and a pick for Ben Jacobs. Campbell was delisted right after the trade period. We weren’t stupid enough to take that deal back then when Jacobs ultimately walked to the draft and now, we save Gold Coast $450k by having Atkins on our list.

I'm not sure if there's a single other player in the league who could've pulled off this combo of universally disliked by Port fans while also being this useless a player to have on an AFL list. Maybe Ned McHenry? But at least he was relatively young and a high draft pick, and not really any worse than McEntee or Evans? Maybe we'll DFA him too just to be safe though.
