By virtue of paying his dues Yze is the lowest paid coach in the comp. Teagues gone, Lamberts gone. We must have plenty of soft cap space. Keep hearing Nigel Lappin is phenomenal at teaching and developing kids. We're about to have our biggest Draft haul of top end talent in forever and more again in the next few years. Add to them we've got Gibcus, Brown and Clarke who've really only played 1 year out of 3. It's pointless if we don't develop them to reach their full potential. The club should make Lappin an offer he can't refuse as we need to maximise our return. Sam Lonergan

The club should make Lappin an offer he can't refuse as we need to maximise our return.

I agree with this. Two years of high draft picks needs to be complimented with a guy who can get them reaching them potential. Finding a gold nugget amongst our current crop of floundering young players would be fantastic as well.

There is a good reason ruckmen rarely become coaches.

And a good reason most coaches are short. Short people clearly more intelligent.
