Chief can their be an option to permanently keep it with the old school yellow? I much prefer that to the new shiny white.

Agree with that 100%.
I also prefer the thread icons of the old style as they're bigger and more simple. What's the reason for having to delete the old style? I'm a member of a couple of forums and they all have choices as to which style you want it as.

welcome to the 21st century bigfooty, so much easier to search for things than the battle ship that was the old layout, don't think the blue works, yellow was better and more bigfooty like, but this is a hell of a turn around, me and friends used to laugh at how archaic bigfooty was, we'll have to find new things to bag it for

I don't like the way it's harder to see which threads you've already posted in at a glance.
Aside from that it's ok. Finally rid of that ugggh yellow shining like a beacon at my work when i'm trying to be discreet - colours are much better.

yeah i noticed that as well. the old box with the arrow pointing into was great. it's very hard to see now.
aside from that i think it's fine.
one thing i noticed, may have already been bought up but anyway, in the profile of someone it mentions they're team, interests, etc,. and then at the bottom it says left-nav and has some non-descript computer talk underneath it.

I actually think I might grow to like the side bar as it seems easy to get from forum A to forum B in a click. Keep up the good work Chief and everyone else who worked on the new layout 
Not a big fan of the white, I found the yellow much easier to read. Or even TLC blue.

Oh yeah, and an option to turn off the menu on the left hand side if you so wish, if it is possible. I get around primarly using the breadcrumbs, so it's not much use to me except to clutter up the site.

Love the new colour scheme but hate the way the sidebar crams everything up.

Love the fact we don't have any annoying ads holding up getting into each page etc.... but agree with everyone else: lose the sidebars.
