If true I don't understand why the club is keeping it on the downlow - it would be a 12 month injury, so they couldnt exactly hide it. Given that, I'd suspect it isn't true but who really knows.

Ben Simmons going down has totally ruined my interest in the Sixers this season, and the NBA in general (thankfully Embiid's rise has somewhat kept my interest).
I think Bontempelli's injury (if true) will unfortunately do the same for me.

Call me unloyal, selfish, whatever, but after finally reaching the summit last year, this year I was most looking forward to Bontempelli winning his first (of many) Brownlows.
