Grubbed a few kicks but kicked a nice goal on the run from 50 and showed a lot of fight in the clinches. Missed a couple of tough shots on goal, but the number of shots he was getting was certainly encouraging. Another preseason of run in him and he might get a few games in next season.

I guess there's always a chance that Simmo is trying to get involved in some 4D chess, but I doubt it.

At any rate it still leaves the possibility of a last minute fake because Duggan will still be available for our game on Thursday.

"16 AFL listed players" makes it sound like it's full of exprienced guns.

Riach and Bines barely know how to football and will likely never play an AFL game.

Mcinnes, Mutimer, Brooksby and possibly Allen won't be AFL listed in literally a few weeks.

Bailey, Edwards, Foley and O'Neil are playing against men for the first time.



The only real AFL experience out there is Cole and Vardy.
