Forget it......I have cancelled and re-ordered with Iconic. They deliver within 3 working days!
Sorted then?

Maybe now with your time, you have an opinion on why there is no information that Eagles have on their website or have given to WAFL about the 2nd team?

Or if the tops ups training by themselves and only splitting up in small groups with any other Eagle training is useful to building the 2nds?

Or if this is going to change in season?

Strange that we haven’t seen any guernseys yet for the WAFL team? Surely they’d be starting practise games very soon and the actual season within a month?? Leaving it pretty late.

Got to sell every bit of jumper real estate for good sponsorship coin 1st mate.

We have a second team?

We have a second team?
So this thread says ... but don't think the club knows it yet!

Maybe that training changing to Tues nights, Thurs with club team and Fri am with the mythical rumour of a 2nd's team. Who ever is picked that week.

Inter club this Fri with left overs at Subi.

How are we all going to approach the 2nds in the WAFL?
Will they become the WAFL team you support? Or will you keep you current WAFL club as your favourite and the Eagles as your 2nd team in the league?

Im an East Freo fan, but being born in 1989 Ive always only had them as my 2nd club in the world of footy because the Eagles have been there all my life, so personally I`ll be exactly equalling cheering for East Freo and the Eagles in the WAFL from now on.

Interested to see how ya`ll feel in this regard.....

I’ll be supporting the BEagles for sure. But more about the players than the team in a way. Not too fussed about results more about actions, development and endeavour etc from our players.
Yes, cheering for Falcons to win the league, but individual players in the Eagles, as it doesn't matter to much where they finish, just how they develop players.

Yeah was actually thinking about this the other day. I’ll still support the Falcons but Eagles reserves team will definitely be a close second. AFL Eagles has, and always will be number one, with WAFL only really being a passing interest for me (born 85 so never had the WAFL as my main footy watching / supporting) I guess I’d got for Falcons over eagles reserves in a game but wouldn’t really lose any sleep over how either of them go.

In terms of interest in watching:

1 Eagles AFL
2 Eagles WAFL
3 Royals

But in terms of passion and love:

1 Eagles AFL
2 Royals
3 Eagles WAFL

I grew up in the East Perth members and at the ground in the 70's and early 80s, with my grandad being a board member and life member. East Perth will always have my childhood love for the game but living overseas, my only interest in the WAFL now is in terms of Eagles players or potential draftees.

Thanks for still supporting WCE so passionately while living overseas.
Well done true fan

Eagles AFL
Eagles WAFL
South Freo WAFL (my original WAFL team until this year)

Would make mockery of the WAFL if the WCE-B side wasnt included on the WAFL ladder table and finals. This concept has to be a treated like other 9 clubs and actually be a part of the whole format. Like they do in the SANFL. I am actually looking forward to going to a few games at the local grounds when the AFL side isnt playing. I like the WAFL, the standard is good and some of the players there are as hard as any. Went to Claremont v East Perth semi in September, good game.

Come to think of it, Claremont are Blue & Gold too. Eagles may have to use the white-ish strip against them.

So hold on, are we not eligible to play finals??

I was told by someone we were not. I looked on the WAFL website and their ladder has only 9 teams, no Eagles.
If this is true, its already a non-interest and a joke. It wouldnt suprise me, the way the WAFC handle most things WAFL related, they do it all ass backwards or half-cocked. Hope its not true, but ...... ?

Pretty sure we’re the legitimate 10th team, only restrictions are on the recruitment of top-up players and the inability to play home games.

The ladder on the website is likely due to the fact that the WAFL are horrible at updating the thing.
