Not entirely unexpected with only one AFL-listed player in the side (who wasn't even on our list a few weeks ago).

They didn't count stats other than goals - For the Beagles, Josh Burke finished with 2, 1 each to Logan and Brandan Young.

I hope we don't regret not asking Humphries to nominate for the draft and getting him for the minimum price as a cat b rookie last year.
Don't get why we didn't. He wouldn't have taken a spot on the main list and we could just see how he went this year, same with Richard Farmer.

Consecutive downfield frees but Matera shanks his set shot, Beagles go coast to coast for their first. Winder had some classy touches in that passage.

Beagles have hit the front! Couple of lovely field kicks from Deegan led to a Strn mark in the square.

Subi up 4.4 to 3.0 at quarter time.

Yeo hasn’t done a lot but he’s moving alright.

Jamieson playing at CHF, started to come into the game a bit.

Strnadica having a bit of a running battle with Delahunty.

Harry Edwards looking very sharp down back and pinch hitting in the ruck, too good for this level.

Bailey Williams hasn’t done much, same with Jack Williams. Winder quiet apart from that buildup to the first goal.

Deegan and Ryan look the classiest of the top ups.
