Centre of Excellence apparently… the wafl and town of vincent completely sold east perth and Subiaco a dud with that deal to move there.

The oval however gets no rest . Two teams train there during the week and then games.

That's the problem in a nutshell.

Historically Leederville always had a pretty good surface. Drainage was good, recovery ok and with only one club there the only scrubby bits of the ground (by season end) was the goal squares and the centre.

Bassendeam was always a mud bath, East Freo was a disgrace (in all ways) and Claremont always seemed to have dead grass. (South) Freo was usually ok in a similar way to Leederville.

Things change but this just looks like overuse.

Connor West is the medi-sub. SPS, Clark and Jamieson all named in the Beagles. Line up looks experimental as Langdon, SPS and Winder as the back line looks umm a bit suspect.

He is very good at ground level and around the ground. Very promising, just needs to hit the gym hard and have a big preseason. Is a keeper.

Pathetic effort all round though to date, half of footy almost gone and not a single goal. This can't be good for the development of our youngsters.

100% need to fix the WAFL squad in the off season or it'll kill any development of the kids we pick up.
We are missing numbers from the AFL squad that would be playing in the seconds through injuries, but even so no goals in a half is completely noncompetitive.

The WAFC is so concerned about a reserve team dominating the competition that they made the Beagles as weak as possible.

I know West Perth are top of the ladder for a reason, but the disparity in skill level today, particularly in the wet, is very obvious.

You can’t question the effort of our WAFL top-ups, they try their guts out but a lot of them are just simply not up to it.

We really need to keep pushing for more recruiting concessions this off-season.

Watched Peel there afl players showed a lot of effort. We need to let a lot of players go
