WC should win, I hope they win, but it's going to be a struggle.

Heart say's Carlton by 14pts.

Head say's Eagles by 31pts.

Will be a tough game for us and we will need everyone firing over there in order to beat a quality Eagles outfit on their home turf.

I want to say Carlton win but I just can't say it sensibly. Eagles should win, but it will hopefully be a close one. 20 points

Eagles to win by about 20-30 points.

However, if we play our best football i would like to think we could snatch a victory.

Things that fill me with some hope are the following:

-Duigan, Laidler and Jammo (who got injured in the first Qtr) will all be playing this time around. Last time we had a shell of our starting back 6 and we got murdered by the eagles big men.

-We probably play Subi better than Etihad

-We are 4-0 on the road this year.

Unfortunately, i dont want to list the reasons that i think we will lose...:eek:

There's 3 possible results here;

1; West Coast by plenty, at home, with the stronger team (less injuries), they could just run away and win by 5-7 goals.

2; West Coast in a close one. Carlton haven't lost by a large margin all year, so this is the most likely scenario.

3; Carlton in a close one. Only way the Blues can win, they won't thrash the Eagles at Subi, even if they get a good start, the Eagles will fight back.

I'd lean towards option number 2, the Eagles at home seem almost unbeatable, especially with the players missing from Carlton.

The top 4 teams usually make it through to the prelims, I can't see it being any different this year.:)

Carlton have a huge issue with Cox and Naitanui I think. I would be amazed if Warnock is left to do it alone.
