Very disappointed with Bella and Dana to be honest. Our b&f from last year and our best player.
Had a whole pre season, then come out and collect 6 and 7 disposals in 3 quarters of Derby footy.
Turbo has 20 ffs.

Umpiring’s lost the plot. Freo much cleaner and better at keeping their feet off the contest. Some nice signs to build on and we’ll get more from Hooker and McCarthy down the line you’d think.

Scoreline doesn’t reflect the game but does reflect the composure and structure advantage that Freo have.
Looks worse than it was but plenty to fix that was the same last year.

Yep they’ve been rubbish, Dana however is being played out of position so they need to end that experiment ASAP.

Swanny the only mid who had a crack. Good to see her run out a full game.
Dana, Bella and McCarthy all rubbish.
Forwards were basically invisible, like most WCE woman's games to be fair.
Bowen showed improvement but decision making and skills is still the achilles heel.
Gooch was meh. Smith and Collier took a swing at least. Ward did her job as well.
All in all, I'm never going to be happy walking away after we kicked a measly 15 points. Third season where we've yet to kick more than 2 goals in round 1.
At some point we need to actually start showing some serious improvement.

Also worried the impact that losing Pratt as their coach will have. I think he was instilling a lot of belief in the girls and Prior will have to convince us he’s not a downgrade.

Nothing to do with he Coaching tonight CC - all about the decision making and execution by the players, when we are put under the pump we crumble and it's going to take some time to rectify that.
Girls have improved, no questioning that ........ trouble is so has every other team.
Great effort tonight but the girls were out muscled , out thought and better set up than us, the longer the quarters went the more apparent the difference became.
Simply put The Purples are stronger, fitter and smarter than we are at the minute.
Sucks to come second ............ got to learn from the mistakes, we encountered a quality team tonight on their turf, with the rub of the BLUE going against us.
Analyse, dissect, learn from the defeat and move on.
We are still three years away from being able to take on the better sides.
Showed a lot of improvement tonight, but it was also pretty obvious that we still have a long way to go.
