Both better than Kaitlyn in my opinion.

I think Georgie will come to us and Kaitlyn to Freo if we finish below them.

Teams with quality tall's are hard to beat, particularly tall's that can kick goals.

Much easier to find quality smalls and mids than it is to find quality tall's.

So when they are there to draft you don't blink and just take them, without hesitation.

Does the change to being able to opt for the national draft have any implications for us?

I wouldn't have thought so, as any player eying a move to a specific club could previously opt to nominate for that state, having to nominate nationally makes it harder to move, rather than easier I would have thought.

Also, there may be players nominating nationally to increase their chances of being picked up. This would especially apply to Victorians I would think. If you would have been prepared to go interstate post draft to get on a list if you weren't picked up in the draft, then it makes sense to nominate nationally. If your Victorian, your still most likely to stay home, but your odds go up if interstate teams can pick you.

Of course, other clubs will be making that argument to WA players. That Cleaver and Srhoj are pretty good, the WA clubs may not pick you up, why don't you nominate nationally.

This may also shake up the value of traded picks, if good players are nominating for the national draft, its no longer enough to have the first pick in your state.

Disagree on Jaide and Mikayla, I think Kaitlyn will run rings around them in a few years, she's got so much upside. But agree that she'll almost certainly go to Freo.

Also, as big as the draft after that is looking, not many key position players I can see, if any. Like you say, gotta take them when they're available. Also, Angelique Raison is saying she'd like to go interstate, so that's even one less.

I’m not as enamoured with Srhoj as many. Kid can play and run no doubt about it but I’ll stand by my original statement.

Here's their full list of good juniors. I think they've massively underestimated Taya Chambers and Noa McNaughton, but otherwise, pretty good list.

I will be stunned if Srhoj doesn’t end up a better player than Britton and Western.
It will be an interesting decision for WC if they do finish below Freo.
Srhoj clearly the better prospect given Cleaver is going to be too small to ruck and is a terrible kick but WC have overlooked talls previously and it as on obvious hole in the list.

And we can’t revisit it for 5 years so time will tell, and I’ll have forgotten by then.

Any ideas how this PSP period is gonna effect us? Seems like our list is pretty solid now so hopefully we don't lose anyone. But considering we finished below some of the clubs who have gotten hand outs, bit rough we're still at risk
