Rock - Stop talking Sunshine up putting pressure on ya mate:D

No doubt Sunshine will improve with above mentioned + a couple of players returning to club, and this is the third year we have had Under 18's after a few years without, so some kids will push up as well:thumbsu:

Cain - I think you will find Tocka had the job when approached, but Good Luck to Norm and West as I don't like to see clubs in trouble, much prefer an evener comp.

Just a quick one west footscray people or anyone realy......

Want to know how west footscray are travelling? any news at all?

I played all my juniors there and a couple of years of seniors there about 7 years back, i live about an hour away and are thinking about heading back there to play but not to sure if its going to be worth the effort if the club isnt trying to go forward and just happy to go idle thru another year....

Training on Monday and Wednesday at 5.45pm meeting at West. About 20-25 on the track and heard a couple of St.Albans guys are coming down.
A few of the under 18s from last year that played elsewhere are coming back as well.

The new coach down at sunshine is keeping his cards close to his chest but if true the kangas will improve alot on this year.
With jacobs, wiggins and foley, will definately see them finish top 3, i believe challenge for that elusive premiership.

ROCK i think you are talking up the kangas. With good reason, i hear your a chance to join your good mate at the kangas??? Maybe even in a playing role.
If so i think you would be a massive get for the kangas./ B.Jacobs with your playing and coaching experience.

On another note few whispers around the league is that the colts are on the verge of colapse, still no official naming of the coach. Word from the wrfl is that Jack Love is not allowed to coach. So interesting times ahead.

Spotty is very confident on winning their 4th premiership, will keep theor list together and expect 1 or 2 quality signings.

HAHAHA Nice try.
Colts are by no chance on the slide, as i have stated before, we will keep majority of our list and are hopefull of trying to cover our losses.
I'm sure many people are hoping that the colts are on the slide but it will not be happening just yet.

But you still didn't answer weather you may follow Brett to kangas Rock. Maybe not this season. Also think it may take some time to formerly announce the coach of colts, especially if a new W.R.F.L board (which hasn't formed yet) have to decide if Love can coach or not. Which brings us to the question Rock, if Love gets the thumbs down and the colts board come to you and ask you to do it again (after in your words sacking you), would you do it again?

In all seriousness. i have been the biggest supportter of the wrfl but in my opinion it is sliding down every year. The sfl has gone past us.
The wrfl player depth is falling away big time and the way the comp has been run over the last few years, we are way behind other metro comps!!

Wow havnt you changed your tune mr rock i remember you saying last years side was the best colts uv been apart of also i remember i was saying how bad the comp was & how much the standard has decreased over the past 10 years and you jumped down my throat straight away im pretty sure it was you saying colts would make the EDFL top 4 but now 4 months into retirement your telling us the comp has falling away

I still think colts would have made top 4 edfl last year's side was the best team i had been apart of in my time.
I think that the comp is sliding, but that doesn't mean im talking about in any of the top teams.
It's mainlt the depth of the bottom sides, player retension and the like.
So please don't link what i'm saying about the comp to me retiring....i may not be retired just yet. Getting some nice offers to continue playing.....lol

If WRFL say Love cant coach, then it would have come from above in AFL Victoria. He would then have to go to appeal, through the AFL Vic appeals board. based on previous appeals heard through this way he is 50/50.
marby park have a couple of coaches who have been through this process and may offer some advice.

Lions upgrade stocks
Undera has left no stone unturned in its bid for back-to-back Kyabram District Football League premierships, signing four key players ahead of its assault on next season.
Three former TAC Cup players are part of the package.
Ryan Camey, Cameron Beazley and Shannon Downey will all join the club from the Western Region Football League, while former Undera junior Jarrod Zerbato will return to the club next season after spending his final year of thirds with Goulburn Valley Football League club Mooroopna last season.
Downey _ who spent the 2006 season with Tatura _ and Beazley both played in the premier division of the Western Region Football League with Hoppers Crossing last season.
``They both showed an interest in playing in the country and shot out an email to a number of clubs and we've been in discussion since then,'' Lions coach Terry Mahoney said.
``Both have played TAC cup, VFL _ Cameron with Williamstown and Shannon with the Coburg Tigers _ and rep footy, so they're going to be fantastic for the club.''
Thirty-year-old Beazley took out the senior best and fairest last year with Hoppers Crossing and came sixth in the league and is expected to bolster the Lions' midfield, while Downey, 26, kicked 42 goals in 16 games last season and will be utilised as a midfielder and on the forward line.
The Lions' third former TAC Cup recruit, Camey, is a towering 205 cm ruckman, who will also play at centre half-forward.
Zerbato returns to the club after spending a season with Mooroopna, and Mahoney says he had high hopes for the 18-year-old.
``Jarrod plays in the midfield and the forward pocket and is a good goal sneak with good skills,'' he said.
``He spent last year at Mooroopna in the thirds, but is coming back to us for his senior footy.
``He took a similar path to Brenton Campbell, he went to Mooroopna for his last year of thirds and came back to us last season to play his senior footy and won our Rising Star award.

Just reading the local paper up home Beazer.. Could have chosen a better club though..

I think you mean competition, KDL will hardley be a challenge for him, must be an economic choice because good players don't play KDL without having ties to the club or coin or maybe as they are last years premiers chasing a cup!

Im not doing it for a challenge. If I wanted that I would have went to the O&M or the like. Ill be 31 in Jan and my best footy is past me. As Ive said b4 I wanted to play bush footy and never had anybody who would do it with me. Now I do and the thought of being able to do my own training here and drive up sat and play made me decide that this was the time to do it otherwise I probably would never do it. We arent playing up there for nothing but its def not a money issue. I have been offered the same money to play 20 mins from home and chose to travel almost 2 hours to play. Them being a good chance next year was a big reason as to why we chose Undera.

As for Skut, I didnt even know you played up there mate.

mate what are you thinking......... KDFL footy mate you could come up here when you are 45 and still get a kick i play in this league, you are better off going to Nagambi same league less travel and Undera's ground is ok but not in a good way like most grounds there. One thing is there netballers are hot and they have good pies... Oooh shiiiit my bad you would be sold just on them:thumbsu: Anyway goodluck and I will see you on the ground.

You wouldnt happen to be that dud that plays at Spotty who kicks goals against the sh#t clubs would you? If you are who I think you are, Id be more than happy to get into a ring with you for say, 5 x 2 min rounds. What do you say big mouth?

As for your inability to read and comprehend the english language, get somebody to sit you down like a kid and get them to read my previous posts to you and they will be able to explain why I left Spotty and why Im not playing at Hoppers next year you dill. But of course you have selective reading (and Im sure you dont even know what that is either).
