sounds like deer park could be the team to beat at this stage. If they win the grand final next year it will be their 2nd flag in 3 years. Lets hope some other clubs can offer some competition, like parkside who have been runners up the last 2 years.

Just remember clearances don't open til the new year.

It will be interesting to see what happens with west coming down, parkside no coach or committee at this stage and several nth players looking to stay in div 2

Not sure about where you got your mail on North. Which players want to play in div2? Majority have committed to div1 for next year, plus there will be a few new players coming in. Still early days, but I reckon we will be stronger next year.

Not if they are counting on some 18's to push through. Some hefty suspensions handed out!

140 odd weeks or something..........i wonder how many glen orden got for their part.......
heard that one of the guys got 12 weeks for something he didnt do has the club put in an appeal for him so they can sort it out or are they gonna let him cop it for someone else.

Its on the WRFL Website.

Maybe the WRFL are getting serious about incidents such as these, which have always happened in suburban footy, but under previous regime's there have been a broom around to sweep straight under the carpet.

yeehaaaaaaaaaaa; He is a straight ahead player! Others on here know more about him and hopefully they can fill you in:)

Well isn't he the player that had his permit taken from him in the WRFL??
Once played for parkside??

Also heard on the grapevine.. from a very reliable source that james condos hasn't actually signed at Deer Park and is in talks with albion. Can anyone shed some light on the this " rumour"

Correct WRFL will never allow cookie to play in comp again and james is in discussions with Terry Cooper. Can confirm that David Orchard is Parksides coach for next season and Nathan will be playing for Sunshine.Rooster 44 can you confirm if West are having a meeting today to canvass members on wheather they go on next season?

Interesting on Jeugan. Be handy for Sunshine.

Thought with the aid of Allison's $$$ that Condos was pretty much over the line. Something must have happened to change this.

How does the permit system work? If Football Victoria give Cook his permit to play again doesn't that mean he can play anywhere? Or is it on a League by League basis?

In regards to West holding a meeting "to canvass members on whether they go on next season", this is completely false. Coaches have been named and for a change, we are not talking about folding at this time of the year. Things are going relatively good down at west...

This is incorrect - Sushine have not spoken to nathan Juegan.. happy for him to come across but no discussions held

Of course we're going on next season, had a good past players fundraiser on Sunday and had about 70 turn up and raised a bit of cash. Norm has been appointed again and some guy from Altona will be his assistant.

About 15 players have been meeting each Wednesday since a week after the home and away season and have been going on a 10k run along the maribyrnong river, a couple of good players from a few years ago have been there as well so hopefully good numbers for next year.

AGM is on Thursday night.
