Re: Western Region Football League team

Arent you at work again? Employee of the year you are. Dont even start about last week. The junkie didnt even want to bang you, thats how well you are travelling at the minute.

Surely Frosty or Macca has done something worth letting us know about?

nar no work today mate, im sickkk, could almost sneak another week if i play my cards right, getting pretty boring thou and the old fella is nearly worn out.

anyway back to footy, couple of big games this week, port hoppers will be another massive contest, down at hogans i believe, i think hoppers may just get over the line especcially if reyonlds plays. will be plenty of good match ups clarke vs. taylor is always good to watch.

also st albans sunshine, the loser may drop out of the 5, with albion starting to come into it expecting a big win from them against altona.
im tipping st albans to have a win here, dont know who is going to stop fitzy from kicking a big bag thats why i believe they will get the points.

only other close one will be yarra glenorden, seems as thou glen orden are on the improve looking at there scores from weeks gone by and they might really push the yarra here, ill tip glenorden.

Re: Western Region Football League team

We all need to remember this is local football and should be kept in the local community for local people to come and watch / support. Werribee is not around the corner for the majority of people and this may impeed crowds. A venue like yarra or whitten is local for the league and supports people getting there and getting home quickly. A lot of people can have a beer and walk home or get friends, wifes to pick them up but if you asked your misses to drop you off and pick you up at werribee you may get told otherwise....
Keep it local I say..
Thoughts

werribee is 10 minutes from yarraville mate, yarraville's change rooms are way too small otherwise it would be perfect but i think werribee will be fine for finals, it's not too far imo can anyone name a more central venue with facilities(surface, changerooms, parking etc) as good because otherwise werribee is where they should be played

up until 2 years ago the finals were always played at yarraville and it is a great ground for finals and i would have no problem playing there this year but it is a nightmare finding a park so clubs may want to organises buses for either yarra or werribee

Re: Western Region Football League team

Williamstown's too windy, Whittens Oval's too big and Yarravilles change rooms r way below par when your talking finals.
Also the glass is half-empty
so if it rains you will want to play at telstra dome roof shut?????????? do you think thesides of the 70s 80s 90s wood worry bout conditions dont think so all they worried bout was playing in any condition how times change

It looks as though you don't rate us at young crackersafter we smashed you guys a few weeks a go................oh that's right you had 8 walk ups out.........let's be honest you had molan, kelly out that could make a real big impact and then beazer not far behind as for pelar musca, cassidy and the ruckmen with a cut foot [forgot his name at the minute] just good honest players that are not really match winners, but your titled to your opinion,we also had a few out against you guy and also tomorrow we have up to 7 of our starting 18 out but are still very confident of a win and will be very shattered and dissapointed if we loose
Good luck crackers and don't kick to many cheap ones tomorrow try have a run up the ground against this mob even i got 2 centre clearences last week....................lol

Re: Western Region Football League team

I guess Im lucky we had a couple of injuries from last week or I dare say I would be playing at 12.00 again.

What is this site? Bring up as much dirt as we can on Beazer? So what, I was p#ssed and I thought his bed was the toilet. Im sure we have all done it at some stage in our lives. Luckily he has a spare bed and he is a good bloke.

For f#ck sake, can somebody give me a chop out and lag in a team mate for anything they do away from footy. I need some help.

gold beazer.......the boy loves a sip.............give him a break.......:thumbsu:

rate u guys very highly, also rate hopper highly too,..... i think it will be a tight one and hoppers may just get the job done down there at hogans, anyway all the best ur due for a bag against phippsy arent you?

yeah u did smash us the other week and i never said anything bout 8 walk ups out, to me who is out means **** all, what u gonna say gf day when half ur teams out, "we would of one if we had all our players" while the other team is smashing p1ss out of the cup going who gives a ****.

yeah kelly and molan were the only gun outs, doubt they would of made a diifference thou, u guys were harder, more intense amd better skilled than us on the day, and we will have to improve alot on next time we meet u on ur paddock, which im confident we can.

startring full forward tommorrow, not planning on leaving the 40 with passing coming in from harris kelly theodore and me mate beazer back should be a good day.

Re: Western Region Football League team

If this doesn't get a response from Phippsy looks like nothing will. Maybe the boys down at hoppers should not take footy so seriously and get some enjoyment and team building amoungst themselves - its not all about the money. This shows up in Port and the up and coming Sunshine - in local footy a bonded team will always beat a bought team.

there has been mention of phipps lateley just wondering how his form has been this season. Played a bit of footy with him, and he has been known to talk himself up
