Taylor playing at all Beaz? Big ground for his legs. Could be interesting even if he lines up deep forward, his opponent could be the go to player to run. If he does line up down back on a windy day, then opponent may be isolated in square and use pace. Bit of a worry bud.

Tales. is a competitor, he will be fine, good player to have in your team come finals time. Unless he has a injury to worry about he will be worthy of his spot!!

I'll tip spotty in a close 11 points, but a result either way would not surprise and the word from the hoppers camp is they are very confident!!

No doubt confident especially after the wrap the local paper gave them out Hoppers way....had to wonder when Frost was saying that he thought they could run Spotty off their legs....would have thought the Woodsmen were probably the quickest team in the comp? Better ball users & more forward options = Spotty by 4 goals.

I totally agree Rock, But at Altona when the wind blows up it's pretty hard to chase with ageing heavy legs. What would your thoughts be on Tales playing on Jensen?

Big ground for both of our pins mate. Neither of us have won any fun runs of late but we play on a huge ground every 2nd week so we will be used to it. He is strong and quite fit even though he may not look it, and we all know how he approaches each contest so there is still plenty left in old 'tubby' Taylor. Im sure there will be a few moves from both sides trying to take advantage of match ups tomorrow. We just have to be switched on to it and beat them to it or change it up quick enough.

All the top sides are probably as fit as each so I cant see either team being able to do this unless 1 of the teams dont use their fitness to advantage. In saying that, if Spotty are quicker, are better ball users and have more forward options I cant see us getting within 10 goals of them. Surely 4 goals was tongue in cheek?????????

We will find out tomorrow anyway.

Just spoke to my IT guy at work, he said if they are good enough they can trace anything they like but highly unlikely. Also said because of the company I work for (Government) if someone was to breach they would be traced and could get into a little bit of trouble. You are right ROCK the ISP can be any provider. Creative mind11 is just fishing for who I am, dont really know why surely there are far more important things he can be doing. on the contruary I only have one log in.

Now can we talk footy............

Rock give us your possible matchups for the weekend and who will you be keeping a close eye on for the week after?.

you are one of the biggest fluffers ive ever come across DANNYOCEAN. your 'I.T' bloke at work and working for the government, what a load of s#it. your isp is sends out a 10 digit number, like a fingerprint, and yours is the same as another username on this forum. so get your hand off it buddy. they always say that when your lying you make up more lies to cover your old lies and you are doing a great job of proving that theory...whilst also making a dill of yourself on here...

ive emailed a couple of people i speak to regulary on here and they now know who you are too....should be interesting who drops your name first in the public forum lol....

anyway good luck to all sides playing this weekend, lets hope for a few upsets and a new challenger to spotty and colts in the seniors, and a challenger to albion in the magoos....

finals always bring out a few new names, good players play well in big games and shall be interesting to see the names in the best column for the next few weeks.

have a good weekend DANNYOCEAN - listen out for me ill be the one yelling DANNYOCEAN is a w***er from the side line ;)

over and out

Creative_mind11, you'd have to be talking about his IP address. For example the ten digit may look like this 216.27.61.137. I may be wrong but the I think the only ISP number is the phone number of your internet service provider. I'm curious, is the number similar the one I used in the example?

Well the wrfl produce another close final.
With the conditions at altona today the game was never going to be great viewing, to both sides credit it was a very physical game, for the first 3 quarters anyway.
Think both sides were pretty well spent for the last quarter. Hoppers though showed alot of courage and determination to win. With no bench and more players going down in the last they just kept hanging on. After leading by 44 points early in the third hoppers didn't kick another goal and spotty from that point to the game on with run and carry and definately looked like winners at 3/4 time but as is said hoppers showed alot of fighting spirit and willed themselves to a great victory.
Bset for hoppers were young and butty who did a great job on molan, also ryan was good on a wing and beazer with 20 touches through the middle was ok. For spotty o'keefe was the standout probably just couldn't get it in his hands enough, spotty will bounce back though!!

Looking fwd to taking on hoppers next saturday at chirnside!!!

Good summary Rock. Thought Hoppers' defense was huge all day. Spotty came back into the game when Hoppers was no longer able to get the same numbers around the pill as earlier. Fair challenge for your forwards next week.

Thought Murphy pulled out of a few contests and wasn't really tested at all. maybe i'm a bit old school but thought a couple of early hard tackles may have been beneficial. Interesting to see Albion resys watching the 2's game and having a nice beverage or 6. Suppose a week off has it's advantages.

Very unlikely to do any better than 4th spot. Would take a good win by Sunshine and an upset Hoppers loss, so hardly settling for fourth, just happy to be in the mix. Never stacked the twos in my living memory and looking to beating the pussies by 54 points next week!! Put that on your changeroom wall Inka!!

........good try today champ!

Well done to Albion! another good old flogging of the arch rival..
Sunshine promise everything but again cant deliver..
Thought big Philpot was instrumental all game.. And Brad Hewatt was solid in the middle!

Must say what a disgarce of a venue for the comp to play a final at!
Cant believe where this comp is at.. Not a great representation for the WRFL when guys from other comps have to go to Alton to watch finals football!
No atmosphere, sheds blocking views and light beer!

Anyone shed any light on the Spotty v Hoppers game.. heard there has been a few reports since the game finished??

Good win by the cats, planned for today's game over the last few weeks and it all turned out well. Did the cats get through unscathed?? Will need a full list to push a detemined spotty out fit.

Also heard whispers of some late reports from yesterday's game. I s there any truth to it?? Coppers also involved?/

So name a better venue outside of Chirnside, and then compare the surface at Chirnside, Its is crap at the moment. Name the club you are from and present their ground in a condition suitable for finals, or pull your head in fool. Light beer, blame the ROCK 07 incident last year and not Altona, a club that at least has the balls to host finals. Put up or shut up.

Altona's surface is no good too!
From a spectacle point of view, just about any ground in comp is better!!
Wouldnt say it was suitable just a profit making excercise for the vikings!
Still like to know why they cant play finals at Whitten Oval?

You should pull your head in, there were a few incidents with the crowd violence last year and i was involved in none of them in a physical way, nor did i have any heavy alcohol!!!!!
With all the violence at local footy, i think it's a good move with light beer.
Altona's surface is one of the best in the wrfl, the atmosphere is not great but the condition's didn't help, don't think there is a better choice at the moment.
Chirnside is a great venue but would be good to get back to the whitten oval one day

Fact, like it or not the incident after the siren is the reason for light beer only. By your own admission you did go to the fence and should not have, and all hell broke loose afterwards. If I am wrong please tell me where. We will never know what may have or have not happened if you did not react the way you did, but as a result of what followed all supporters are now being subjected to light beer only.

You'll find that its only light beer for the whole finals series, nothing to do with Altona.

Well you must work with the wrfl, if your quating FACTS!!!
I shouldn't have abused the umps or ran at the fence mainly for the message it sent my own son...FACT
As i said befor i had no control over drunk people's action, port colt's supporters or not.
The fact is the alcohol was not served responsibly, heavy beer and shots of spirits, along with not enough security.
These were what were blamed at the tribunal, i was cleared......FACT!!!
If it helps you sleep at nite blaming me continue to do so, the truth is i don't care either way.

Too easy to single out one incident to blame for the light beer. The biggest problem was violence in the crowd that had nothing to do with that incident. Light beer is the best way to go. Whether crowds are subjected to the 'evil' of light beer is debatable. I'd say the league is saving some people from themselves and allowing families to watch the footy in peace, hopefully. If people don't take responsibility for their own behavior, authorities have to do it for them and 'light beer only' is a result of this.
