Me and all my mates were watching the game at my house. In those last few agonising minutes I was right on the edge of the couch with my mouth hanging open, some of my mates couldnt watch, most of the edge of their seats like me... then when we heard the most beautiful sound i've ever heard in my life (the siren, of course) it was just crazy scenes of drunken delirium. I remember just screaming YEAAAAAAA as hard and loud as i could for so long and jumping around in a massive group hug. We partied our way outside so that people could smoke, i cracked out a gigantic cigar i was saving for if(when) we won, and have a kick of the footy.

Blinding happiness. It was ****ing great.

lol... everyone stories are kinda similar. Drunken delierium, hi fiving, hugging, screaming YEAH!!! at the top of their lungs. :D Pretty much the same for me though.

About 6 of us around the telly. 42 inch big screen plasma. As the game got closer and closer to the end, we all got closer and closer to the tv. Me and my mate, easily the two most devout fans, and we have been through it all together, front and center. Were screaming at the tv to blow the freaking siren and then when it went I remember dropping to my knees and howling out a huge YEAAAAAAHAHHAHHAHAHHHHHHH!H!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and pumping my fists like a madman!

Then a second later, me and my mate were hugging and jumping up and down and falling over and hugging on the floor and then getting up and hugging everyone and more jumping up and down etc.. What a day. I wish I could relive it. After the celebration it was more drinking and street footy followed by the casino! One of the best days of my life. Chucked a sicky too to watch it, but i didnt give a flying **** what work thought. There was no way in hell i was missing the game.

What a day.

I was in Prague at the time the game was played, so wasn't able to watch the game, but remember checking AFL.com in the hostel I was staying...nervous as anything...the page began to load, my pants began to fill...all in some very hungover absinth haze....

Page loads: for a good 10 minutes I ws just walking around telling my two mates I was with, one an NRL fan that didn't really care and the other a guy from LA, how happy I was and that we're getting plastered...although that wasn't anything different to any other time we were in Prague

Then went to Oktoberfest and there were many Aussies there, quite a few from Sydney which was even better, but the best was some Dockers fan...gloating has never felt so good...even some Richmond fan joined in with me haha.

Got back to Denmark on the Tuesday and downloaded the game...probably took a day or two...watched the game, fully well aware of the result having read every report possible...and still I was speechless for a good half and hour to and hour...just shaking

It made me very homesick though: what I wouldn't do to be in Perth that day with mates...but on the upside, I would have had a coronary had I watched the game live

hugged people I didnt know.....cried a bit...laughed at the swans sitting on the ground...sorry I dont get into all that lovey I feel for the opposition stuff...

drank myself silly for 3 hours after..sobered slightly (food helps!!) then watched the reaply on tape twice that night
