I got my photo on the Pav jumper when it was offered to members. It was pretty expensive, I think it was $275, however it's the only Freo jumper I've bought from the club that came boxed. I managed to find PIs of Craig Moller (#40) and Zac Dawson (#3) pretty cheap on eBay, though I don't think they were worth much more than I paid!

I didn’t get my face on the jumper but in hindsight I wish I had because I think those jumpers look amazing! I have a few player issue ones, that between them include all digits from 0 to 9 at least once, including the ones shown below. Clearly positions did not sell out on some of the numbers as a lot of people seem to appear on about three of the different digits from 0 to 9! facesonjumpers.jpg

14?? Nice! I had 26 or so but sold all but 4 (still looking to sell one). I'm a huge can of the Canberra + jumpers, I have cam McCarthys from last season but would love one from this year or a gold one!

When I saw the McCarthy jumper on eBay I thought you'd be buying it. I already have a 2014 Dylan Shiel jumper so I passed it up

Funny story to that jumper (not really funny), that prick stole $360 off me! I bought that one, the lachie Neale, David armitage, josh Bruce and mark Blicavs off him and after months of back and forth he told me they were lost and he'd refund me. He even went so far as to make up a fake receipt from his bank! But I really wanted the jumper so I had to buy it AGAIN and put it in my Mrs name to get it!

I didn't realise there was also a #19 (Alex Forster), I remember picking #9 as on the list to choose from only Pav had a #9 in his number.

They did a similar thing for the Big Bash Final last year, it was $10 and proceeds went to the Alannah and Madeline Foundation (though they didn't sell replica jumpers). They sent me a high-res pic of the #3, but I later found I was also on the #1 and #2 as well (they posted all the numbers of Facebook) :)

Damm, that's not cool. Did you report him?

My biggest frustration on eBay is with sellers that don't know how to combine purchases. I've had a few sellers where I've had to pay by direct deposit as they don't know how to edit and resend the invoice so I can use PayPal :(

No it was all through Facebook messenger and off the recommendation of someone else. I am trying to find the right authorities to report it to but currently am having no luck as it was through bank deposit not PayPal which is why I will NEVER trust anyone through bank deposit again

I've got 10 Western Bulldogs jumpers in my collection - all PIs or game worns. I've had some surprisingly good luck with the official club auctions.

2007 Heritage - #40 Jarrod Harbrow (Worn/Signed/COA) Love this jumper as it's a true dirty jumper, there's stains all over it and think chunks of mud on the cuffs.

2009 Away - #36 Brian Lake (PI/Signed/COA)

2014 Home - #13 Daniel Giansiracusa (Worn/Signed/COA). I believe this was worn in his final game. There's a light grass stain on the white hoop on the front which matches to the photos from the game.

2014 Footscray VFL - #59 Mitch Jensen (Signed/Worn/COA). Was sold as "Signed & Match Worn 2014 VFL Premiership Guernsey) so I take it that it was worn in the GF. This was the cheapest of all that were sold as I got outbid on everything else, I bought it purely because I wanted one, I didn't care too much which player in the end. Brett Goodes was BOG and I think his sold for around $1K!

I thought I would share a few of my favourite purchases from the past few months as I haven't put much up on this thread for a while. Most are retails but still pretty happy with them because I don't see many around for sale these days.

I've been trying to get my hands on one of these for the last 10 years and to finally come across a brand new one with tags was a dream come true!

Special edition Tasmania Guernsey celebrating 150 years of football in TAS.
Although thrilled that I can finally include a Tassie guernsey in my collection, I was really disappointed with BLK's effort at personalization. Considering how long they took to make them, I was hoping them to have sublimated numbers. Unfortunately not. But it wouldn't have been too bad if the numbers they used were actually of decent quality and actually made to the proper size (the 11 on the back looks woeful and does not suit it one bit).
And before you guys start..... Yes, It's BLK. I had my expectations set too high.

Finally,
2015 GWS Indigenous round. Jeremy Cameron PI.
I am interested to know why the sponsor is missing from the rear. If I remember correctly, GWS didn't have a second guernsey sponsor locked in before the start of the season so I am thinking that the indigenous guernsey's may have been manufactured before that was locked in and the ones that were used for the game had the sponsor logo heat pressed on?? Doesn't bother me though. I actually like the look of it without. Hopefully the Giants have a game in Launceston next season and I can take it down to a training session and hopefully get Jeremy to sign it.

I'd really like to expand my Western Warriors collection, but I don't often see that many for sale sadly.

I'm assuming these are PI's, since I've also seen them for sale without a name and number on the back, though I've seen a couple of the Marsh ones for sale and that makes me wonder. I know they're definitely not made for retail any more as I asked BLK via their Facebook page last season.

Good stuff, d_mac77. In the mid '90s, my dad won a competition to play against the Warriors in a special friendly at the WACA, and after the game, Brad Hogg gave him his shirt as a memento.

Very interested to learn about the recent use of photos of people in numbers for the Big Bash final- just went on the web to have a look before.
32.jpg

Those numbers are quite interesting! I had been wondering whether any sporting clubs/ organisations other than Freo had ever used such photos in numbers on sporting gear (interesting that the Big Bash final was more than a year after Freo’s promotion- maybe these numbers were inspired by the Freo ones!)

Yes, it is true that the only jumper available for Freo members to receive if they paid for their photo on the 9 was a 29 jumper. Similarly for each digit from 0 to 8 there was also just one option for members who took part to receive: 10, 1, 32, 31, 41, 15, 16, 7 and 18. Player issue jumpers with GPS pouch and photos in the numbers were made for all the players in the team though, but I am guessing only a few would have been made for each player.

Does the AFL logo seem to be way closer to the centre here than it should be?
Never noticed that before but now you mention it, it does look a little more right than it should be. If wouldn't suprise me if it was deliberately placed there to fit nicely between the stripes. Maybe to make things easier when printing the fabric.

Compared to the player versions, it's quite different

Awesome shirt. Love Hoggy and I loved watching the Mercantile Mutual/ING cup when they still had games at the WACA.

I was keen on that jumper, but you outbid me so I ended up buying a Giants Academy jumper! I noticed that (the lack of a sponsor on the back) too, it should be SpotJobs.com. I have an ANZAC jumper which was round 4 and the SpotJobs.com logo is sublimated. Maybe your Indigenous jumper is an early sample or prototype?

I'd say it's an early sample/prototype to test what it'd roughly look like.

The back is completely different to Jeremy's game Guernsey, it looks pretty unfinished:

The circle on the left side is missing all the dots going around
The river looking section in the middle is thin and uncoloured, Jeremy's was thicker and a different colour
The river looking part on the top right back is also uncoloured
Missing a few sets of feet going up the back
Missing the sponsor on the back which was made into the Geurnsey (sublimed is that the word?) - Spotjobs

On the front it's missing the "Recognise" logo above the Virgin Australia logo on the front.
The whole part around the circle on the left part of the chest is a mess, quickly layered on the computer and made, the real version looks nothing like that.

An interesting piece for the collection but far from what the final Guernsey looks like.
