Hey yamupetau, this is the 2012 UWS Giants (NEAFL) jumper I have. Not sure if it's a PI or retail, there's no sublimated numbers on it. Still love it though as it's a different design to what GWS wore that year.

That is amazing! Ive been looking for one of them for ages!

I did ask the Giants via their Facebook page if they'd auction or sell any NEAFL jumpers (as I'd love some more) but I don't remember getting a specific answer.

I've also got a Geelong VFL and Suns TAC Cup jumper in my collection, plus the game worn Dogs VFL jumper I've posted pics of. Not sure if the Geelong is a PI or retail, but I know the Suns one is retail as I read that they originally sold them back when the club was founded.

The only club I can remember auctioning off reserves jumpers was Adelaide, they sold worn and PI SANFL jumpers last year.

Looks like I've found another guernsey for my "to get list". Thats a pretty sweet design. I was never a big fan of GWS' original clash with the centered G because it looked plain and like not much thought went into it. I'm glad they didn't go down that path with their home guernsey. But the V above it makes all the difference! I wouldn't mind if the Giants went back to that design at some point even though I don't think there is anything wrong with their current design.

A few bugs to fix in the Gold Coast and Fremantle collections as the mobile site didn't take to them to well but hopefully won't be too hard to fix

I don't know whether this is fake or not, but this is a 2010 "Team GWS" jumper. I know they wore this design in the TAC Cup, but I've not seen any pictures of one with a KIA Motors logo on it.

The seller I bought this off had two or three of these, plus ones that were inverse (white with a blue V).

I also have a 2012 Training Jumper - #3 Stephen Coniglio (Worn/Signed)
This originally came from the Giants official auctions, but they sold it without a COA :( Looks like it's been washed (it doesn't smell!) but there's some blood marks on the bottom right-hand side on the front.

The club site said it was a 2011 jumper but given that the Lifebroker logo is heat-pressed on must make it 2012. I've got a 2012 retail away and this is missing the Lifebroker logo but I've seen others with it on, so maybe they signed on as a sponsor after the initial batch of jumpers were made.

The top one may be fake, I'm not sure ISC ever had a collar like that?

100% fake.

Collar is wrong.

Cuffs are wrong.

No ISC tag/official AFL tag.

Design is wrong.

AFL logo is incorrect.

KIA motors was never a sponsor of Team GWS.

Positioning of logos is wrong.

No number on the front.

Ahh, damm! Thanks for confirming :) I've always had my doubts about this one and the all white Port Adelaide jumper I have. I did email ISC about the Port jumper and while they wanted me to send a whole load of photos and details of it, they never confirmed if it was genuine or fake.

the all white port is definitely not a fake, ISC made all white designs for every team as early prototypes, the AFL rejected them however so there's a bunch of prototypes floating around if love to get my hands on some

That's good to know as it was one of those purchases where I the auction was closing and I didn't really look carefully enough at the jumper (to notice the lack of black side panels). I had my doubts as this one is also missing the AFL Onfield tag inside the collar and the GPS pocket is smaller. It would be been nice to get an official word from ISC, especially after getting me to send them a whole load of photos.

I posted a question about GPS pouches on the ‘question and answer’ thread on BigFooty a while ago as I was also wondering about the different sizes of pouches (I had also purchased one of the all-white Port jumpers last year and was surprised at its small GPS pouch compared to the Freo ones). The reply I received was that different clubs use different types of GPS tracking devices and that is why the pouches are different sizes. I would be very interested to see what some of the actual GPS tracking devices used by the different clubs look like!

That is interesting, I had been wondering why so many ISC jumpers keep turning up with white collar and cuffs and that would account for some of them at least. I purchased this white Freo jumper on eBay recently. It is made out of the same fabric ISC player issue jumpers were made from up to about the end of 2012, with relatively heavy fabric for the main part of the jumper and stretchy mesh collar and cuffs. I wonder if it is an example of the all-white ISC prototypes that were rejected.. freoprototype.jpg

Yeah I missed out on the Walters one of these, chick said she'd hold it for 24 hours for me...nek minnit gone! So devo I really wanted it! Yeah they are definitely early prototypes, seems ISC were really pushing for the all whites as they did it two seasons in a row but AFL said nope. I actually really like them and hopefully can get my hands on one soon

I actually bought the white #38 Walters one too: I pressed ‘Buy it Now’ within about a minute of seeing it on eBay as Walters is one of my favourite players! I guess that must have been around the same time the seller was considering putting it on hold for you…

Bugger! Nah they told me the night before that they would hold it for me but they didn't take it off eBay It's all good congrats on your score!

I have Walters match worn jumper from his first ever home game and his 2012 training jumper

The thing I noticed is the GPS pouch on the all-white Port jumper was smaller (about 1") than another Port jumper I had. That's one of the things that made me suspicious.

The Port jumper I have is from 2014 as it has the locker tag with the Port logo (and not the AFL stick man that was previously used). It has the same tiny "M" tag inside the collar (instead of the AFL Onfield tag) though.

While the Dockers PIs made by ISC seem to be quite easily available (either through the club auctions or eBay), I haven't seen that many older ones for sale. So I was pretty happy to find this - 2010 "Purple Haze" - #13 Nat Fyfe (PI). Nat didn't make his debut until round 5 so the light wear marks around the collar I assume come from the previous owner having worn it :(

There's no GPS pocket, but I don't think they had GPS pockets back in 2010? I did see from the game photos the GPS bulge below the neckline, but I also have a game worn Demons jumper also made by Reebok (that has a COA from MFC) and that doesn't have a GPS pocket either.

Here are images of some Port Adelaide jumpers I have bought over the past few years. Is the #40 Aaron Young all-white one similar to the white one you have? Mine doesn’t have the usual AFL tags either- just a small label with the size (M) inside the collar.

I have just measured the GPS pouches of each of these jumpers. The Angus Monfries long sleeved PI is from 2013 and its GPS pouch (when measured from the inside of the jumper) is about 4 inches long and 3 inches wide (at its widest point). However the all-white 2014 jumper, the 2014 player-issue Darcy Byrne-Jones jumper and 2015 match worn John Butcher jumper all have GPS pouches that are bit smaller, at approximately 3.5 inches long and 3 inches wide.
GPSpouches.jpg

When I looked at these jumpers together I also noticed the style of pouches made by ISC has changed in 2014 as the 2013 ones are more bulky in general, with an extra layer of the padded material they are made of at the back of the pouch and with raised binding around the edges, while the 2014 ISC pouches are flatter.

So this is the thing I mentioned I was waiting for in my last post. This is probably one of my biggest "whales" even though it's not a jumper. Always wanted one as a kid, and have been searching for one for a looooonng time. Special thanks to the legend that made it available to me:thumbsu:

Early 1994 Challenge Bank Gameball
IMG_0919.JPG

IMG_0920.JPG

Did a bit of research, and found that in early 1994, the gameballs had the oval Sherrin text on the underside face, like the normal, non gameday balls. Then by late 94, and in the finals & GF, they were like they are today, with the sherrin text and the kangaroo symbol, that features on the topside, replicated on the underside. Not sure why they changed, but that's what I could find out. So this one must be from early 1994. Always wanted one of these, and to get one that's from a premiership year for the Eagles is an added bonus:D

That looks great! Very nice collection. I especially like the Danyle Pearce signed calendar :thumbsu:

Wow man! I'm ridiculously jealous of this one!! Would kill for a '10 Fyfe

Honestly do you know every Geelong player?

If only!

Here's my latest addition - I think some of the WA collectors here will have an appreciation for this one too.

Graham 'Polly' Farmer's signed and match worn Western Australia State guernsey from the 1959 State game. Was recently on display in the National Sports Museum at the MCG.:
