All the delistings this year got me thinking about all those guys who did not make it and are delisted after 1,2,3,4 years on the list. They put their entire life into getting drafted and playing AFL. What happens to these guys? Some of the guys I am thinking of are Bullen, Pickett, Davies, Walsh. Some go on to play in local comps, some retire all together, some develop careers in other areas. Interested in any stories people may have on these sorts of blokes........

Marc Bullen played for the Port Adelaide Magpies in the SANFL. He left 1/2 way through the season to go back to Melbourne to be with his ill father.

Was drafted from Port Adelaide I think, so probably back in the SANFL.

If I recall correctly Judkins wanted to take Ryan O'Keefe with that pick but Sheedy couldn't pass on Marcus after he had passed on Byron in the 1996 draft.
Sam Hunt was part of the Geelong VFL Premiership side last year...

Definitely not playing for Syndal. We finished bottom of D4 in the amateurs... I think you might mean silvan. We have a Hanneman, but that's a different guy!

Darren Walsh spent a couple of years at Noble Park then went back to one of the bayside clubs like Seaford or Carrum. Bit soft for NP, I'd suspect.
I think Reynolds is at East Perth and Hunt at South Freo.
Lalich and Bolton are both playing at Uni Blacks who got relegated.
Davies was playing for someone like Perth or West Perth I think.
Henneman played at Devon Meadows this year I believe....not very successfully either.
