As an Essendon supporter: What if Hird didn't miss basically the next 3 years after his brownlow win?

General Question:
What if West Coast beat Sydney in 2005 and Sydney beat West Coast in 2006?

Completely unrealistic at this point....:
What if all the best players for each position in history could be gathered in their respective primes in one place and time and trained with current rules/interpretation to play one epic match with their lives on the line?

Essendon would have won the 1999 grand final

What if Malthouse had agreed with the Director of Coaching position at the Pies?
Would Ratten still have a job?
If not,who would be coaching the Blues this year?

Ratten may have survived...just... and then the blues would aim for Paul Roos for the 2014 season as his son would have completed secondary school by then. Even if Carlton were to finish 5-8th under Ratten in 2013.

What if in the 1950's to 1980's the church had the bent Christian Brothers at that school you seem to worship reported to the police rather than moving them on to another parish.

What if Hawthorn had have kept Josh Kennedy?
What if Cousins didnt lose his shit?
What if Lloyd played on for another 2 years?

As a Don's supporter, this was the hardest thing to deal with as a kid, many tears were shed, What if Wanganeen didn't go to Port Adelaide?

Non footy: What if Cliff Burton didn't pass away and Mustaine didn't have drug problems?

What if Fitzroy never went to Brisbane?

What if the ball rolled through for a goal in the 2010 grand final? (Milne just missing the ball)

What if Carlton never got caught going over the salary cap?

What if the AFL stayed at 16 teams?

And from my own clubs perspective, what if Aker didn't lose the plot in his last year?

What are your 'what ifs'?
What if Milne had been correctly pinged for the push in the back against Harry O which resulted in his second goal? Funny no one ever mentions that one.....

Everyone can play that game. I wonder what would have happened if Pendlebury was pinged for throwing the ball 55 metres out with 15s left. Either a 60 metre kick after the siren or the ball bouncing the wrong way with a minute and a half would be much bigger tipping points than one goal at some random point in the match. Sorry you didn't get that free kick you wanted.

What if Mark Waugh had decided that personality didn't matter in a partner?
He'd have something like this
