Same as DT except you have to temper possessions with disposal %.

eg 30 at 70% vs 20 at 90%, you take the 20 possessions every time.
 
Contested ball winners and effeicient users of the ball. Obviously you still need players that can rack up possesions, mark and tackle and all the other stuff, but players that are able to win contested ball (Ablett, Judd) and can kick effectively (Newman, Drummond, Hurn) are more valuable than other players.
 
In defense you look for those who are the designated kicker, sweeper, Quarterback type player, rebound 50 players. Examples of that type Enright, Hodge, Heath Shaw and Gilbee.

In the rucks a fit Cox can't be touched.

The mids fairly self explanatory.

The forwards, generally good to get forwards who get a fair bit of rotation in the midfield, eg Goodwin, Deledio, and Harvey types of player.

If you would consider a guy for the mids, check that he is not listed as forward or back if so get them in those positions - gives u more mid type players across the field.
