The Castle in North Beach was a crazy joint.

Watched someone get scalped in a bar fight. This old bald fella picked up the clump of hair off the ground and placed it on top of his head.

Happy as Larry.

Classy.

I always turn everything off and go upstairs to watch tv with the curtains closed..my house got egged a few years ago because I didn't answer the door to a group that looked maybe 13-14 and wern't even dressed up but had bags for lollies
Two words: air rifle.

I worked at the Wangara Tavern back in the day, lived in Kingsley for 14 years and worked in the Kingsley Tavern too.
OMG we are all related!

Parents who declare that their child is a genius because they can unlock their iPhone and find YouTube or some other app. 'And they're only three!'

STFU. It just means that your 3yo is smarter than you.

Had religious doorknockers today.
It was only after i gave them the "no thanks" i thought i should have handed them a bag of lollies and said , "great costumes now %^$# off"
Still think John Safron was a legend for doorknocking for cathlicism in Salt Lake City.

People who sit their 3 year olds in front of iPads should be neutered.

Its not as though they will be needing to use technology much through their lives now is it.

Besides how else do you get the little buggers to stay on the potty?
Plenty of time in later life to become zombies.

This crop of kids- ipads.
The lot before- computers.
The ones before that- video games.
Before that- TV.
Before that- Movies
Before that- Radio.
Before that- Gramaphone records.
Before that- Comics.
Before that- Penny dreadfuls, Pantomimes, Punch and Judy shows...

I bet if you went back far enough you would see a mother clipping her kid behind the ear saying "Hey Grug! Stop staring into that new fangled fire. You will end up a zombie!"

I'd like to go back to before you learnt to type.

Using technology doesn't make you better at it or smarter when you get older.
Somehow i'm mr fix it for all the stuff that wasn't around before i turned 30.

Recruiters grind my gears.

Why do these campaigners even exist. ******* waste of space.

They never return a phone call even when it's them that has rung you. Their only skill is doing a word search on your CV and they are have no idea about the role or industry they are trying to employ people for.

******* useless.

Had a recruiter call me on my mobile the other day. Screened the call. Left me a voice message which I ignored. Two hours later he googled my work place and called that. Receptionist left an email saying XXX from XXX Recruitment Company has called and wants to speak with you urgently regarding a personal matter. Called him back and gave him a serve.

Scum of the earth.

That's a fair while ago.
Our school system is different here in the eastern states, more emphasis on education and less on 'Different holes and how to dig them'.
Someone's jealous we were playing in sandpits with toy trucks whilst you were stuck in classroom wishing you were playing in a sandpit with toy trucks.

Very good point.

Right now however Im sitting inside playing video games watching a bloke outside trying to dig out an old tree stump.
The jealousy has subsided.

There's two women in my office who always complain about their children's friends who are apparently addicted to their iPads. One I particular always moaning about other kids and about how her son is so much better. Her son sounds autistic and if he was really that good you wouldn't have had three afternoons off in two months to meet with his principal.

We're losing basic IT skills from our curriculum and replacing them with coding. So kids can now code a motorised car, but take an hour to type an A4 page.
