Not sure if this has been asked before and if so sorry, but couldn’t be buggered reading through this one.

As we have to spend at least 92% of our cap I assume that would be next year, what if we don’t do that or get someone in to use in on?

We just front-load some of our existing player contracts, freeing up extra cash for a raid on a big player during next year's FA period.

If reports are correct, then we've signed Graham to a 2-year deal on minimum wages (<$100k). Sydney wanted us to take over White's contract, apparently worth around $300k) so they could afford to pay Tippett.

On that basis, we've clearly come out ahead by signing Graham. Our war chest remains intact for next year's FA period and we've gained someone who is at least capable of impersonating a ruckman.

I'm guessing that Sydney's media conference this afternoon will be to announce Bolton's retirement. Is there anyone else out there who thinks this may have been forced by Sydney's contract offer to Tippett, combined with the lack of salary cap relief when we refused to trade for White?

Thats more like it :thumbsu: Now if we can hang on to Mckernan, get 11 + 22 for Tippett its party time. In Noble we trust.

We should offer some serious $'s to a quality GWS player (front-loaded) for an unders-trade, which will allow GWS to fit Tippett into their cap when they take him at #1 pick in the PSD.

This is what I'm hoping for. I'm so sick and tired of other teams raiding our list. When's it going to be our turn to bend over some unsuspecting club? We need to grow some balls.

Put it on black. Then pay the fine. Then party.

1. Throw a party at AFL house involving lots of cocaine and hookers.
2. Take photos of senior AFL staff in compromising situations with said cocaine and hookers.
3. ?????????
4. Jimmy Toumpas to AFC
