I've had enough of all of these kents already.

Nothing would satisfy me more right now than drafting H.Reid and watch him kick a bag against the tin-rattlers.

And anyone else wanting to entertain splitting the pick in this massively compromised draft needs to give themselves an uppercut as well.

He looked a bit like Beau Waters but just couldn't grab his chance

I guess they meet with the players and tell them and not all players are met at the same time and done may be away. Once a player is told, it is announced as would leak out from the player’s contacts otherwise.

It looks like they've convinced themselves ("sources") they've got H.Reid (for pick 2 & effectively a pick in the 20s), pick 3 compo & Sanders.
Kidding themselves.

Why would we agree to trade pick one away already no one has any idea of what the draft board will look like towards the end of trade week.
Nth supporters have convinced themselves that they will get pick 3 for McKay and access to Sanders. No guarantee that these things may happen either.

Talk about counting your chickens before they hatch.

Be hilarious if the only concession they get is the right to bid on Sanders.

The whole ‘deal is already done’ to North has been posted about the place a few times now. Someone that drip feeds info on the dogs board claimed it too (not that they seem reliable). It matches up with what the media were saying with North getting Reid anyway, whether it’s legit or not there’s noise coming from somewhere.

It doesn’t completely make sense, especially with the Dees seemingly confident but it’s best not to get too attached to Reid, there’s a long way to go. I really doubt the 2 + Port pick could be in anyway legit, we’d be getting another top 10 pick or something future wise I’m sure.

Prefer future picks myself. Nothing really floats my boat in the top 10, other than McKercher.

There could always be the possibility that WCE will target talls in this draft and go small next year. I could live with that as a long term plan, provided we end up with multiple top 5 picks next year.

“Apparently North have reached a deal to grab Reid, with Sanders pre-listed alongside later picks, Sydney are allowing pick three money. We have increased our offer.

While we are leaning towards a Bayley Fritschclone at 3, with the brother joining us hopefully.

Was told the above last Tuesday, all clubs are aware.”

This on the Hawks board just now. Seems like the rumour must be coming from the same source

Reckon the compo pick is the most likely (possibly tweaked to be pick 3 even if technically only an end if 1st rounder) - I get the feeling the clubs revolted against the Sanders access if before pick 40.

Someone out there must be trolling a lot of people.

Port's already stated Duursma's not going anywhere.

My few mates with loose connections to the club seem convinced we'll be trading down.

They're admitting it's not based on anything overly concrete but it's still making me very nervous.
I still think its a little weird a Clarko coached club didnt tank the last game.

In a situation where we could just grab Curtin with 1, getting a late first rounder and Curtin can only be seen as a good deal.

Also I suspect we'll be sending Port's second and/or Port's third rounder back in the deal too if they have to match a Sanders bid.

No Reid then good luck to him , we're a hazard club recently need to work out our training facilities , injury management before we can go forward in a confident settled manner .
Injury crisis has been horrendous , I'll draft whoever wants to play here , Harley is too big a product for the club right now anyway IMO ...we ain't ready .

How? Plenty of people still have Curtin ranked in the 4-7 pick range. Nth will either pick at two because they have screwed there list build or are straight out bluffing.
A guy ranked there (4-7) plus a pick in the teens isn’t in anyway a good deal for the undisputed pick one.
