I've had enough of all of these kents already.

Nothing would satisfy me more right now than drafting H.Reid and watch him kick a bag against the tin-rattlers.


And anyone else wanting to entertain splitting the pick in this massively compromised draft needs to give themselves an uppercut as well.

Admittedly I didn't watch the game but going by the stats, I'm not blown away if that's some of the best he's got. 15 possies, 9 uncontested and 6 contested, 5 score involvements, 2 centre clearances. 6 tackles which is pretty good I suppose.

I still don't love him like a lot on here and think we can do better with a list spot.

With Shuey out there is a need for greater assistance for Kelly and to help get Kelly on the outside more. Robertson has stagnated and there is no guarantee he can step up, but he's limited at Brisbane by a pecking order.

I didn’t watch the whole game, but what I saw from Dow today was on the money for what we are lacking.

We don’t have a good history with Carlton high pick scrapheap players (not counting JK obviously as he was not scrapheap and they were rightfully reluctant to let him go), but if available at a limited price and if he is happy to move across the country for a regular game then it is definitely worth investigating.

Crouch likely wont be here when we contend again, and if he was he'd be on his last legs. Sure he would improve usfor 12 to 24 months but he would want more than a 2 year deal on decent coin.

Id rather invest in 22 to 24 year olds and if they made the grade they would be younger than 30 when we contend again.
