What would a Dutton Liberal leadership mean for the Liberals and the country?

Dutton will fight for ALL Australians not just the one's that Albo highlights (and forgets about the rest).
I can only imagine how hard he'd fight for welfare recipients.

Oh dear.

When is a major media organisation going to come out and say that Peter Dutton is categorically not a serious candidate?

I know they have to sell newspapers, generate clicks etc, but surely the national interest takes precedent.

We should not even be talking about this malignant turkey.

Easy - governing for ALL Australian's means governing for EVERYONE regardless of rich/poor or ethnic background ;)

Unlike you, I don't need to speak in paragraphs to get my point across ;)
Changing stage 3 tax cuts is an example of governing for more than just high income earners.

not true, Punter hes the Deputy Speaker in the government

Wow, what an honour!

(And he's the Second Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, not the Government. The position of second deputy speaker was created in 1994, primarily as an assistant to the deputy speaker in the Federation Chamber.)

Typical Im the greatest politician schtick

Lost his powerful non religous backers by letting their wife go
which then caused them to move
Lost his religous backers
Didnt keep his branches in line so they nearly went unconstitutional
Then nearly lost Moore by having an over 10% swing
Then played footsies with the Alp, hence why he got deputy speaker.

Look at this from ten years ago

Dutton saying he will clean up the immigration mess ‘left behind by labor’ but won’t support the student caps bills which is the most sensible and needed LEGAL approach to the ‘problen’

Will clean up another’s mess but won’t help others to clean his mess. He was immigration supreme for quite while in fact

A nothing role and still his most significant achievement. Achieved two-tenths of f-all in his 17 years in Parliament, with the sole exception of a a few laughs on Mad as Hell.

Which all translates into "he's not a senior Liberal". To suggest otherwise is disingenuous at best and deliberately misleading at worst.
