They were quoting Finkel on safety. It's one of the two issues that require addressing to garner public support for their plan.

But you all stay angry, you hear?
Given the economics of their plan are pure gibberish on stilts, I don’t think we need worry ourselves unduly about any other aspects.

For the so called "better economic mangers" it's amazing they come up with something that makes zero economic sense.

But hey they'll eventually get dragged kicking and screaming from the past like they always do.

Makes a lot of sense if you're fat Gina, her piggy fingers are all over this policy.

And for the so called capitalists, it’s amazing they come up with something entirely financed by the Australian taxpayer.

100% x 2

“To date, I am yet to read a convincing analysis in its favour in the Australian context.”

steven hamilton.

For how long have they been telling us that government are useless and the private sector does it better?

I guess if Gina insists you do have to change your beliefs and values. Or maybe the Liberals never really had any beliefs and values. Or maybe economics and the private sector does it better were "non-core" beliefs, and their only real values are to protect the ruling class.

It is hard to keep up. It must be years now since a Liberal has said "debt and deficit" - is that not cool anymore?

You're right. All they stand for anymore is the ruling class.

If Gina had a knock to the head and started quoting Che Guevara, the Libs would all be rummaging in the closet for berets.

Read a copy of the West Australian in a cafe the other day. It was hilarious seeing the mental gymnastics going on.

Both Twiggy & Rodger Cook have utterly bagged Lurch’s nuclear nonsense. The West are a Liberal mouthpiece for the most part but their first loyalty is to the resources industry and Cook, while ostensibly a Labor leader is completely in the pocket of mining industry and Twiggy of course is untouchable so they had to report what they said without bias.

I reckon they would have been dry retching having to print criticism of federal libs. Normally when Lurch is here they suck him off like he’s royalty & parrot every word.

Supposedly the "plan" they released last week isn't a "Liberal Party document" according to Spud.

Is he walking away from that already?

“The policy we released isn’t out policy” 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 “it’s not our fault that someone , who did a report for free, that we used to show our plan, has been used to show our plan”
No wonder they couldn’t build car parks.

I’m just waiting for Dutton to start talking about introducing Tariffs… maybe that’s how he is going to slow our economy , so we don’t need as much power…
