'The Minister used his powers to grant her a tourist visa.'
'The ABC understands the au pair, Alexandra Deuwel, was planning to work with Adelaide-based pastoralist Callum MacLachlan, who is Gillon McLachlan's second cousin.'
'Callum's father Hugh MacLachlan has donated about $150,000 to the state and federal branches of the party since 1999, including a $20,000 donation in 2008 and a $25,000 donation in 2013.'

Dutton defends French au pair intervention after political donations
Federal Labor says Peter Dutton must explain whether generous political donations had any influence on his decision to help a French au pair into the country. His office flatly denies any wrongdoing.

Why do you think Cash was accusing the the deputy commissioner of the NACC of being an ally of Dreyfus? The Libs and the media are going to go the full blown Trump, it's all a witch hunt on this I would suspect if adverse findings start flowing.

And yet you have that w***er Dan Tehan trying to interrogate the government on ankle bracelets for 36 " free to go" ex criminals. The hypocrisy is astounding. If they had any brains they wouldn't be asking any more questions relation to the Home affairs and Immigration portfolios when this is hanging over their necks.

Yep. Crickets everywhere except the Guardian AFAICT. There is no hope for accountability when the MSM runs such a one sided protection racket. This would be screamed everywhere if it happened under labor.
