You're hired Crow... or should I call you... the new Talking Goat! ha ha ha
Looks like the Milward one was true. He was out on the town not so long ago and did let that slip to someone who told someone etc etc... maybe that someone was you! :)

Stocky - I heard that about Simon Weekley and Leigh Davies as well...
Also heard that Russ Weekley is keen to start his coaching career given his knees have finally blown out. Might be a handy assistant on the sidelines for the Dragons.

I hear Grant Weeks was also considering Sandhurst, but the forward line might get a bit crowded with Weekley, Davies and Fitzgerald in there so, yeah... I also reckon he might end up at Square or Eaglehawk... and may go back on to the Bendigo Bombers list?
Anyone know what Blair Holmes is doing....Sandhurst maybe??

yeah not to bad. guess youll have to wait and see with the millward saga[/quote

millward will be playing in melbourne next year. has already been sourced by a number of teams and have been told will make his decision very soon. his team mate of the 2009 season, singh will go as a package.

have also been told that simon weekly and leigh davies are close to signing with sandhurst.

I thought that Milward would be happy to be playing with Kain and Locky again?

:thumbsdown:who wants balraj
wont chase, wont tackle, wont go after spilled pill after marking contest
pretty limited CV you wld think

Derek Filo and Shannon Milward are very, very good mates. I can't see Derek saying to Shannon that he's got to go because they want to get Kain back, especially considering the kind of player he is.

Either;

-> Kain and Shannon have resolved the apparent issue between them, and both will play with the burra.

-> Shannon had decided to leave anyway.

-> There is/was no issue between Kain and Shannon, and both with play with the burra.

There is yet to be anything confirming Milwards exit yet anyway, so we may not have a succint answer for some time.

i reckon your right see what happens guess it will come out if its true....

YES, he has
And not surprising really, considering the Storm Boys won their very first game in the BFL way back in Round 1
That day they beat a surprisingly lack-lustre Maine who were starting out on their 150th season --- well: 150 years since the actual foundation date, not that they played every year since 1859
Storm under Whitsed won 4 games in their inaugural year and turned in some excellent performances throughout the season

Ill establish my cred here. Daryl Wilson has quit peel thunder and is returning home. Ill beat the addy....:D

Went and seen Maryborough run around friday night and they had about 60 on the track and gym with a few very handy players from the MCDFL down there and i was told that they have signed to play, with ex bendigo bomber player things are looking better at Maryborough but will need to find a little more to keep up with some big name Bendigo sides.

Yes your right they had great numbers for first week. I was informed 52 on first night which is great for the club trying to improve. The biggest positive was 37 under 18s running around as the club needs the kids ( under 18 team) to have any sought of future.

They have started training early but seems the kids and the young senior players are super keen to start and keep improving. I wont make any huge statements but they will certainly improve next year into top 5. Probally cant keep up with the recruiting of Square and Eaglehawk, but with there limited smaller finances they will improve!

Is the Bendigo Bomber Brad Stringer who was on the list last year anyway...

any truth to the rumour that Josh Mcleod will return to Darwin soon as Macca has a kid to a bird he was seeing up there? Apparently a chance to move there permanently!

Good everyone in the league would be happy to see the back of him.
