Continued in Part 7:

Thor: love and thunder

I really enjoyed this, it’s got some flaws and Taika is doing the most Taika possible but like a lot of his films I thought the heart and humour worked well. Bale was a great villain and it did everything I wanted. I’d say this is the best post endgame MCU film alongside Far from home.

Is it the best ever MCU entry? No.

But it's definitely decent and should not be as lambasted as it currently is imo.

100% agreed. Finished up and I was like “I really don’t get why this has been trashed pretty hard”
I can think of a few reasons, mostly toxic fandom related.

Prey on Disney plus, absolutely loved it best “predator” film since the original imo
Bruh

It was so good. I mean this movie seems to be entirely aimed at me
-Flying beartrap weapon
-Sick dog
-Predator

But exceeded my expectations, I give it a 8.5/10 and the best movie i've seen this year

Thirteen Lives (2022)

A movie based on the rescue of the kids trapped in the flooded cave in Thailand a few years ago is pretty good. The cast is well used and the emotions run high. The film really shows just how difficult the whole rescue operation was. Available to watch on Amazon Prime. 7/10 (Good)

Shame they didn’t back it in for a cinema release would of been great on the big screen

Just saw Bullet Train. Typical Brad Pitt movie but I enjoyed it for what it was. More comedic than I thought it would be.

Agree that the sound was poor. Missed some dialogue due to how soft they spoke or the background stuff.

Overall, I'd give it a 6.5. Maybe a 7 as it was a little different (in a good way) to what I expected.

Bullet Train.

Really enjoyed this one. Very, very stupid but lots of fun.

Didn't have any issues with the sound or hearing dialogue etc like others here have reported. Might be an issue with some specific cinemas, maybe?

Started Lightyear. Couldn't get into it at all and turned it off after about 20 minutes.

It really wasn't great and I can't get around Chris Evans as Buzz.

I watched 3 minutes and turned it off lol.

Prey

8/10 Really enjoyed the fights. The action was well directed. Good choreograph, allowed space into the scenes and wasn't heavily edited into a million bits. The main protagonist was well written, not OP nor were there any dumb tropes.

Bullet train 3/10

My worst cinema experience ever went to the 10am showing before work with my wife the cinema decided to show the Black Phone in it’s place

Realising that we’ve seen this movie after about three minutes in decided to complain to staff only to be told that they accidentally showed black phone in of place bullet train because they forget to change it

They decided to restart the movie Only for them not to be able to show it in that Theatre

They moved Us to Another cinema Not an Extreme screen one like the other only for it to be seriously dark and not to have put on the lights so you can’t find a seat

We watched the movie and at the end decide it would’ve been better had we just watched black phone instead

Bullet Train was like the random woman your drunken uncle brings with him to Christmas dinner. You're initially put off by her, you get chatting, she grows on you throughout the night, but then after the meal is over you realise that even though you had a pretty good time, chances are you'll never see her again.

6/10

The film nobody asked for.

Toy Story 4 was already unnecessary given how perfectly they wrapped up the trilogy, this new film just seems weird.

Like others on here watched Prey last night.

Was most enjoyable, very good build up, action top notch and I really liked the look of the primal predator. This will be unpopular but I still rate Predators (with Adrien Brody) higher. The original Predator will never be beaten but I would love to see a sequel to Predators.

was really good watch. I liked how we didnt know what the kids were doing/thinking until they were found.

crazy how far in they were and each trip to them took over 6 hours

Haven't seen Prey, but it shouldn't be unpopular to say all of them are good except the last one. That was atrocious. But Predators and Predator 2 are enjoyable.

It's definitely not a franchise that has ****ed itself, like Aliens, or Terminator, or Robocop...
