When do Tiges start training?

Just wondering when the Tiges start training again, and normally what day/time. Planning on making a trip to Melbourne before the years end, and want to coincide it with this.

About 4-6 weeks time usually,finals sides have a longer break naturally.

Cool, so after mid-Octoberish then, to be sure. Anyone know what days/time they train, or is it different every year?

I'd start them now if I was wallace. I know he cant but we need an extra 6 to 8 weeks to get some sort of skill into the players remaining.

That's what we;'ve been dong all year - training!
when are they going to start playing should be the question

Under AFL rules they get 8 weeks leave beginning August 28. So they should be back October 25. They get another week for Christmas (Dec 23 - Jan 1). Any kid who is younger than 18 when drafted does not begin training until Jan 1 (although the clubs seem to flirt this rule).

Thanks heaps Weaver. My girlfriend is on my case about watching them train when we go down to Vic later this year. She's desperate to get an autograph from Richo. Hopefully he'll be signing on for next year or she'll be shattered!
