Until a board member comes out and acknowledges stability doesn't equate to success if you dont have the right people in place, then we're going nowhere.
All the board and leaders buying into that false, self-interested narrative, with only a focus on keeping their boys club going and trying to just make a competitive team, rather than being prepared to risk it for the biscuit.
Being stuck in a mid table rut is literally the worst thing the club could ever do. I'd rather a 2011 & 2012 all over again, if I get to experience another 2013 and 2014. The last 6 years have been soulless, boring and depressing.

We will get something today from Richardson. Surely in a four day period you can conjure a disrespectful and condescending email to members to celebrate our 2 final wins in 9 years, our 3rd consecutive finals loss, the Senior Coach in year 11 getting a 2 year extension on the back of no success and in the process confirm no one will be held accountable from the Koch & friends regime for any decisions made. PS now that the pesky footy finals is out the way come on down to the Precint to enjoy a meal or come into the club shop for our wonderful merchandise and sale items. Here is a list of random objects we are selling and they have a Port logo on there. See ya at the footy…next year.

It will be the same message as after 2021 that we are building towards something, the programs seeing improvement each year and we will be adding talent. When you step back and take the emotion out of it and look at what we have achieved we can see the program is a successful one and worth continuing on with and the ultimate success isn't easy but we still believe we are building to that with this group and leadership.

Agreed, and you would hope as ceo that Richardson would be literate enough not to use the adverb `along' out of context, the response should have obviously have been `a long' way, then again maybe there have been so many complaining via email that kern is answering some of them, hence the grammatical error.

You know what is annoying though. They are right about positives, of course there are some.
The development of Butters and the young midfield core. The games into Lord. The development of Bergman and Jones. The future of JHF.
Of course, it's all great. There's a lot to be positive about.
The problem is it totally ignores the fact that our coach has had a 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 2x5th position finishes and turned none into a GF appearance.
Yes there are positives, but do you want to surround them by a failing regime and just continue trickling along without success, stuck in a mid table rut?
The acceptance of mediocrity is blinding.
