.its not unusual for clubs to be overly cautious with guys who have received multiple concussions in a short time

Have a read up on the brissy kid in the off season, and I think Griff (?) last season
Guys with multiple knocks can feel the effects for many weeks afterwards

Had a bloke i play footy with get knocked out 4 weeks ago and still isn't playing because of it
The supposed injury aside, how do we get Lennon into the side.
Has so much potential and has shown glimpses of elite talent.
It's a shame, I feel he is the kind of player who won't develop unless played in the 1s.
But I can't seem to find a spot for him in all my speculative best 22's, not whilst Lloyd is playing so well.
Could be a half-back? Maybe a replacement for Houli.
Hate to play a gun forward out of position but, dunno where else to put him right now.

Happened for the second time within a week, 3 weeks ago.... hardly surprising that they are being cautious with him (supposed shoulder injury aside). You'll notice Brayshaw is still out for Melb....
From memory - Conca, Yarran, Houli, Grimes (long term?), McIntosh, Lids.... Depends if you count them all as long term
edit: Oh and Lennon if reports are true....

You will see a lot more of it now and a lot more helmets too, it's become far too big an issue later on down the track to take lightly.

Would have been a fair swap in hindsight- neither one can get on the park.
Thats him done for the year. No point rushing him back. Give him a month or two of rest then train hard over the summer.

Anyone reckon he could play on the wing? He's not incredibly quick but his ability to move the ball in transition could be a huge weapon. Can also take big lead up marks on the centre wing and he would deliver it to our forwards nicely with that raking shoe.
Towards the end of u18s he played a lot in the midfield and racked em up so he wouldn't have trouble finding the footy.
