King on the pine all of the last quarter
He is our leader. What can you say
I do not want to hear excuses
Will he ever be ready?????????????????????????????????????????????????
Chapman must be Captain
Under adversity he DOES stand up

Kent is not a full forward
Play Lonergan and Mackie till they drop at least we will know if they can play. Kent is so inconsistant you can not rely on him.
We must draft a power forward. All the other clubs seam to have one. WHy carnt we get one.

Midfield which is supposed to be our strength is crap
Trade a couple of the slow coaches even for a 3rd round pick

At least the future will offer the unknown which is better than where we are now.

At least when we were under rated we surprised a few teams. Everyone now says Geelong is good team. We have nowhere to hide now. We can't slip under anyones guard.

Where to? Back to the drawing board.

If the other teams start thinking we are crap - we can get under their guard again. Not a philosophy that will take us to a flag - but it seems we play better when under rated. Something about not being able to handle the kudos of being a contender.

What has happened the last two years when we have premiership favouritism?

Answer - we loose a lot of games.

I've heard of fear of failure - but we seem to have fear of success!

Go Cats. (Please)

Honestly guys, I think we have to realise once and for all that we were kidding ourselves after Round 2 when we were calling ourselves flag favourites. We all know the Cats well and we know that we never seem to be able to hold on to a good thing!

Pies made the Hawks game actually look not so bad, we were inept in every department tonight, and it showed.. if we even make the top 8 now I will be surprised, we'd need to win 8 of our next 14, and I'm packing my daks about the Richmond game already tbh.

Reality check my friends, Geelong just can't cut it this year. Not against the big boys anyway (and it pains me to say that Collingwood ARE one of the big boys this year)

I hope he plays very well in the VFL, because he has good skills and boy do we need that.

Now we have a game against Richmond where we actually have to turn up and try and play football - not a lot else to it, really.

The axe will be wielded one way or another, whether it's due to injury or poor form. If we don't see quite a few changes this week then even Skilled Stadium might not help us next week - even Richmond will beat us.
