As for his playing career, I see the impression you are referring to, but I don't think it was ever real. Except for the drug cheat taunt you refer3nced. And that was 100 percent deserved.

Clarkson for me. Never liked him. That king hit on Ian Aitken in the exhibition game in London should not be forgotten. Aitken was a ball player and never deserved the thug treatment. He claimed it did not affect his career but my Carlton supporting friends believe it certainly did.

Hinkley (and koch) have both been at port at least 6 years to long.

Hinkley holds the record for most games coached at a club to not make a grand final.
