Again, Nobody is arguing that Sloane still receives CBA's, Maybe with all those CBA's he should be performing better and not missing out on best 22 for 2 weeks in a row?
"it's fact that he has had the most CBA's after Laird and Dawson proves that he's being relied upon"

Looking like the gap between North and the others is about to grow at the end of the year.

Yep, the poll about says it all. North >>> Adelaide > Hawks

FIFY

Such a shame we gave Sloane countless opportunities in the midfield only for him to be a huge liability, With our entire board wanting a club legend to retire end of the season
Your opinion that he's been a liability doesn't discount the fact that he's had the 4th most CBA's and has been relied upon.

Its is a verifiable fact that Rory Sloane has had the 4th most CBA’s of any Crow in 2023.

Spin away.
So playing 100% in a position that should be the number 1 CBA player in the team he is 4th.

Any player playing in this position will get this many CBA's you can see this by Crouch coming in and doing as well if not better immediately shows exactly this.

This is like saying Adelaide is reliant on Luke Pedlar because he has the 4th most goals.

I’ve read this three times and I still don’t understand what you’re trying to say.

4 Crows nominated for the 22 under 22.
3 Hawks.
1 North.

I think he’s saying Sloane is a inside mid and only an inside mid and being sent there is like a “default setting”

And if you get sent there with the only other 4 people that do… ROB, Laird and Keays/Crouch… someone has to be 4th best.

That’s my take on this deep insightful piece of analysis

Michalanney stiff for us.

Worrell missed too many games probably to be considered.

Confirms Hawks midfield developing well, with priorities elsewhere.

Good list of young talent.

WTF?

You can rely on somebody who is underperforming in their role.

There are probably multiple players at almost every club who would be considered as 'relied upon' and 'underperforming' at any given time:
Exactly. O’Meara and Mitchell were relied upon before being moved on due to underperforming in the midfield last year for the Hawks.

It’s now up to other players (like Newcombe, Day, Worpel, and Nash) to fill the gap, and hopefully/ideally perform better (I mean, clearly they are).

It’s the same for the Crows. They’re currently relying on Sloane, and once he’s gone, it’ll be up to others to step up and fill the void.
