Your fixation on Sloane is pathetic... when he is no longer a key to our side. This is a thread about young talent. You refuse to acknowledge how the youngest defence in the AFL has stood up the past 2 weeks.

Your commentary of every Crows weekly selection changes is pathetic pretence you know what is going on at my club.

You are big on talking down my club with your Hawk attack dogs... Meanwhile refuse to even discuss your lack of key position players which you will need to address as your club will go nowhere just building a midfield.

It's clear why you are deflecting attention to my club, the highest scoring club which is still in the finals hunt.

Youngest team in the comp is Hawthorn.

The thread is about elite talent.

Not about a couple of dour defenders.

The reference to Sloane is certainly not missed on your own board. Yet there you aren’t so mouthy.
Nor when a mod pops you back in your place by reaffirming Soligo was dropped. That would tell me I know more than you in one sentence.

Or you just struggle with the truth.

Crows were the youngest team prior to this season & still one of the youngest sides... hence this thread. It's not like you are telling us anything new.

Indeed this thread is about elite talent. Notice how Crows had 4 players named in the best under 22 squad to Hawks 3, so we are going ok thanks.

The truth is our rebuild is more advanced than the Hawks as we have also been rebuilding key positions as well as the midfield... hence we are still in finals contention... a truth you are seriously struggling with.

Finals is not a measure of elite talent.
Especially when teams push aside young talent to desperately scramble in.

More than that ward wasn’t on the hawks list when the thread and poll was taken. Crows didn’t have Rachelle either. So it’s 3 to 2

We only have a few older players in our squad - the vast majority are younger players, mostly under 50 games.

We are making a tilt for finals with the 2nd youngest squad... which includes Seedsman who is unlikely to play again.

If you’re going to be such a “pillar of knowledge” of everything AFL & your list… then get it right.

Third youngest.

16th ranked at average age 23.8.

Take out Seedsman who is effectively delisted, 2nd youngest.

Semantics though as the vast majority of our players are under 50 games.

And the vast majority under 50 games are not elite talents in comparison to North & Hawthorn.

Which is what this thread is about.
Many are for their age & the under 22 AA squad is proof enough.

Your desperation to talk down the Crows squad is pathetic.

Was Rachele dropped?

Could you give us insight on this? As I assume he’s “fresh”.
Nicks was quite clear in saying “he’s running on top of the ground” a week ago.

Is it disappointing that the only young player allowed to attend centre bounce on occasion aside from the standard senior group has been dropped?

Do you actually watch our games? I think not.

Rachele has been down on form the week before his two week suspension and the week after. It isn’t rocket science.

Pathetic is your unbalanced Fan boy defence on this forum compared to the whimper you give on your own board to far more scratching assessments of where the list is at and the failure to develop elite talents.

Do you speak to people like this in public?

Your parameters change constantly.
Now it’s back to U/22.
Last week 25.

Rachele being down on form is the issue. Not rocket science at all.

Soligo being dropped the same.

What does Dawson have to to with the thread about elite young talent?

Follow what was said the initial poster in the initial line - totally relevant. Not much point having all under 22yos in the centre. But hey.

Means little if you don’t have the players in the engine room that will kick it to them!

Just before young Will’s last contract geez the rumours were flying he bought a house the family connection was a sure thing ……. watching the Crows supporters rubbing their hands was absolute gold. He was never leaving. Now all of a sudden he ain’t that important we can do without him we’ve got it covered 😂

You should seek some help as the Crows are clearly living in your head.

Jealousy is a curse...

With another change in parameters…

I could comment on many lists & list failures but this thread is about 3 clubs… and I’ve yet to see a North supporter on here “seriously” without tongue in cheek make such frantic & incorrect statements on their clubs & list.

By what measure would a HFC supporter ever have to be jealous of the Adel football club?

12 premierships in my lifetime. Attended 9.

The joy of watching live elimination finals like 07… prelims like 2016.

Multiple players flocking out of SA to play and win flags for my club…

And now after 3 flags this decade coming again.

I’m certainly not jealous. It’s more a genuine interest in how one club can be so financial… so “rich” in support yet consistently underperform and under develop quality elite youth…. Who leave and disappear - Galluci, Kerridge, Poholke, McAsey or become better players elsewhere… Davis, Gunston, Crouch, Lyons, Cameron,Lever, McGovern, Keath the list goes on and on etc etc. They don’t stay.

Some do come home for money.

Whereas we have players come from better sides wanting “in” on what we have.

To avoid “homesickness” going forward the AFC offers contracts to young blokes in their 2nd years for 7 years… longer than the Daicos brothers. :) :)

Port back their culture in.

To get one other home they tie up more salary cap and promise the captaincy.

It’s fascinating how wrong one club can get it.

Even Ricky Henderson became a better player once he left. As has Frampton. How is it possible? It’s fascinating.

Laird, Crouch the only 2 players they’ve genuinely developed from a low draft pick or rookie to have achieved anything significant. Even a clock is right once a day they say.

Hawthorn had some spud draft picks but the development of low draft picks & rookies that became premiership players in that time like Coleman medallist Mark Williams, Brownlow medallist & premiership captain Sam Mitchell, All Australian Luke Bruest, Rob Campbell, Michael Osbourne, Brad Sewell, Clinton Young, Paul Puopolo, Will Langford and current day players like Hardwicke,Sicily, Nash, Lewis, Worpel, Moore, Newcombe…

Not one inside the top 35 there.

A side not much older than yours was the 15th ranked “by age” side in 2008 and won the flag at 24.6 years. Don’t talk to me about developing youth.

No player that has left the hfc became better elsewhere without our blessing like Joey K or Maybe Benny Mcglynn. Franklin went again with our blessing and it’s still up for debate where his best footy was played.

Where was he developed though after being passed on?

It’s just plain weird to use a throw away line like “jealousy”… when I’ve got a mirror for you to look in.

Adelaide can’t say the same.

And sadly… because you are out of anything worthy to bring… and because I’ve been informed by your own that “shes nothing but a main board troll”… you’re now on “ignore”.

It’s been fun… but it’s now over.

Watching Hawthorn supporters furiously argue they have the best young talent in the league against Adelaide supporters....oh how the mighty have fallen.

The Crows are currently battling it out for a finals position and taking it right up to a top 4 side away from home, with the third youngest list in the competition.

The Hawks are posting in youf threads wanting to be praised for finishing 16th.
