Dogs getting off lightly here. That was pretty much their best 22 (missing Weightman?), had the forward line to stretch the Dees without May, and lost by 9 goals in perfect conditions.

Their only defence is Melbourne are very very good right now and look very sharp again early 2023.

Dees were missing May, Fritsch, Viney and someone else I can't recall and the Dogs still couldn't get within 50 points with pretty much their best team. Disappointing when you consider that many have the Dogs contending this year.

yeah that was the one. and for me he's in their best 22, very good user off half back, sets up their forward plays well.

Lions and Dogs were very disappointing.
