So annoyed hearing about so many quality TV shows currently being put out there and I am a sports nut currently absorbed in Euro Football and A League, The World Series and esp the NBA (My Patriots stink so not so interested in the NFL this season)

It's the peak of my non Footy sports season viewing right now lol

Just started Territory on Netflix, a cross between Succession and Yellowstone and shot in the South Aussie Outback (it’s meant to be the NT in the show though). 1st ep set things up nicely and I’m hooked.
Just watched ep 4. Excellent show. But far fetched yet good fun. Not sure I'm into the everyone's a crook and out to get me take of rural Australia.

Lioness S2 has dropped and episodes will be released weekly. Those that are dumpster diving may only find/see Italian audio, there is an English setting.

Watched the first two episodes as it was dropped together. If you enjoyed S1, you will enjoy the start of S2.

Not really a spoiler as its revealed in the trailer and opening credits, there is new Lioness, however the S1 Lioness looks set to return at some stage in S2.

Taylor Sheridan does pretty good work, like a lot of his show's

SBS recently screened this 2-part doco and I got around to watching it last night.

My jaw was on the floor most of the time watching it, the footage in this was absolutely horrifying. But still a very well made documentary on the tragic events that occurred two years ago on Halloween.. highly recommend it.

The Bureau (Paramount+)

I recently finished this French espionage series that has been mentioned by a few other people.
Much more a slow burn than action focused Hollywood-style shows.
Long term story arcs, with pretty good characters along the way.
Thought the 4th and 5th seasons dragged on a bit at times, but worth a watch for people with patience to let the show grow on them.

This is Zodiac Speaking (Netflix)

A new documentary on the infamous Zodiac killer.
Largely based on interviews with people who grew up close to the prime suspect.
Worthwhile for anyone interested in the case.

Nothing But a Good Time (Paramount+)

A 3 part documentary on the rise and fall of the 80s hair metal music scene.
Plenty of interviews with the musicians, managers and others involved.
Some good stories together with some short animated segments makes this a winner for those interested.

Just starting The Wire. Heard good things for years and just never started. It looks very old with phones etc. Assume it holds up well, heard it does
It holds up. Quality is quality. It doesn't matter how old it is. Shows this good will still hold up in 100 years. Before I watched it I was sceptical of how good people said it was. It can't be that good I thought.

Then I watched it.
