If you’re all cooked and cbf’d paying attention then The Rookie is an easy watch. Don’t go in with high expectations and you might enjoy it. Plenty of episodes to switch your brain off too, also.
I think I watched most of one episode and it is pretty awful copaganda. Boring and predictable, too.

Have not gotten into any of the Taylor Sheridan TV shows, but started Lioness and am absolutely hooked.

Hits the sweet spot of action-packed, spy espionage thriller where almost every episode has a scene that wouldn't feel out of place in Sicario.

Not going to spend too much thinking about what's Sheridan is trying to say re: government and CIA, and the show does get dangerously close to 'terrible teenage daughter' territory, though it is far more integral to the plot than say Homeland.

A more succinct way of describing the show, there is not. Unequivocal copaganda at its finest.

It was certainly not my first choice as to which show we’d watch next, but sometimes in life (marriage) it’s better to take the short-term pain for long-term gain.

Wife wanted to watch The Rookie.
I wanted to watch Bosch and Bosch Legacy.

So we ‘watched’ The Rookie first.

I was able to catch up on some much needed shut-eye during episodes, and she seemed to enjoy the quiet.

Then I got 9 seasons of pure Bosch bliss.

Win/win. Sort of.

Mayor of Kingstown is another Sheridan show which I’d recommend.
I am still yet to watch S3 though.

Renner is fantastic in it.

I'm watching the Wookie with the Mrs .
I've seen both Bosches on my own.

Enjoyed the Rookie for what it is. Fillion is always a great watch and there is good chemistry between the other characters.

Solid watch 7/10 IMO.
Took me a while to get into it but do enjoy it, seems like there only 6 or 7 cops in their division though

Most Cop shows only have 6 to 8 people in most EPs .
Bosch,the shield,southland,Braquo..blue lights etc.

Just started The Day of the Jackal and so far it’s exceeded my expectations.
First two eps were quite good. First 15-20 mins was a ripper
