Probably won't happen. High pick + Young Ruck makes for high currency and you'd be getting low bang for your buck, especially if he gets homesick. Also, Pyke is good as-is in the starting ruck role.

Wasn't sure hoping you'd suggest someone. Pyke would still play but give Longer a game he's stuck behind Leunberger who is a gun

Why? You gain a few years on a gamble. Also if Mumford walks, the swans lose all leverage. Brisbane could just stick it out and let the chips fall

I would love Tom Bellchambers at the Hawks. Would walk into our Club and automatically be our number 1 ruckman. I don't know if he would leave Essendon though. Wouldn't mind Ben Howlett either. From other Clubs Mitchell Golby from the Brisbane Lions would be a good fit for the Hawks. The Roos big man Luke Delaney would also be a handy option down back.

I kind of doubt it to be honest. We need skilled mids/flankers with pace just as much as we need KPP's.

Our supposed lack of KPP targets is magnified tenfold with the delivery they've been getting.

The plan for Longer once he develops his forward game is to spend about 40% of his time in the ruck and the other 60% up forward. Allowing Leuenberger to have a decent break and to tire other opposition rucks

The obvious choices for the dogs are Kelly, gardiner or McCarthy. With a predicted pick 3/4 it would be a reach to take either gardiner/McCarthy. Kelly suits your needs as he has the package of speed, endurace and disposal quality.
