I quit my membership after 2016.

After these pissweak non-competitive efforts late that season, I'd seen enough of Ken. That was in addition to this, this and this earlier in the year that demonstrated Hinkley's teams now laid down when it got tough and that the 2013/14 sugar hit was well and truly history.

The trend, or culture if you will, of flat-tracking had set in for good in 2016, I will argue. The next few years just vindicated that, yet Cockroach Ken survived it all.

2020 conned me briefly (one kick from a grand final) and I signed up in 2021 - all for my premiership dreams to get crushed in that prelim debacle.

This club is a bad habit that last night I got ever closer to kicking for good: Ken or no Ken.

Did this last year. There's no problem. The club will contact you later on & you can delay until sometime in 2025 (can't remember which month). You won't lose your seats.

Will not renew the membership unless Hinkley leaves or is booted. I would love to see the figures for total membership revenue (as opposed to total membership numbers). Despite membership numbers increasing significantly, I don't expect that the total income would have grown massively from these meaningless memberships. By the end of the season they were offering free memberships for people to go to a game as a way of getting their contact information!

Would expect membership $ to be down from last year even without accounting for inflation.

As i've stated in the membership thread, they offered me a free 3-game membership a couple of months ago via email. When i didn't respond they sent me a follow up email congratulating me for joining "the Port Adelaide family" and added my name to the season's membership figure. Yesterday in the mail i got a renewal notice for the membership i didn't want and didn't sign up for.

I cancelled mine for this year, and said u til Hinkley goes I won't re sign. They randomly sent me a free showdown ticket and iw as like what the? But then I received the same renewal for 3 game membership for next year even though I never signed up for one this year.

This club stinks and it's going downhill fast.

Next year will be year 4, even if Kenny walks I still won't be back until I see a clean out.

Like many have said previously, and possibly may be some sort of personality fault I have, but I preferred 2011-12 because I could go to the games looking for green shoots like Robbie that we could rebuild around.

Right now, not even a side made of all Australians would make me believe.

Right now I stop watching the game, with the exception of a few (like Butters and Mitch) I only follow JHF and younger as I fear they're the only ones young enough to be salvaged from this madman.

Going to watch Port Adelaide play under the current regime is a no-win situation. You either watch us lose, or you wonder whether the win will be the reason we can write off next year as a failure before it even begins.

We were probably just one more loss in 2024 away from a Hinkley sacking. I can't enjoy our wins under those circumstances. Any one of them in 2024 could have been the reason he'll still be here in 2025. Any one of our wins in 2025 could be the reason he's still there in 2026.

I'm finally out if he's there.

Honestly I signed up (digital) again this year partly because I felt like even if Port was burning another season under Hinkley I could at least use it to watch our young players develop and see neutral games, but in reality I barely watched anything at all. Even our finals I didn't see in full, and the Sydney prelim I kind of turned it on and saw bits and pieces but just did other things because it was obvious in the first minute we weren't there to seriously challenge.

Its gone from hope in 13/14, to defending him in 15-18, to disgust in 19-23, to now just a numb point where I don't give a shit any more. There is so much more to life than to waste it on this garbage. Oh look Kane did the thing where he blames the list, Ken did the thing where he doesnt take responsibility, our players did the thing where they don't show up in a big game, our gameplan of locking/bombing it in and bringing it to ground which has never worked against big teams in big games hasn't changed in a decade... then Koch says/does some idiotic shit backed up by something even stupider from Chris Davies before we get another missing piece in the off-season that costs us our future... all while being gaslit and attacked by professional trolls like Whately for caring... just the same shit over and over and over again.

Would much rather just watch the girls play because at least they are trying to build towards something. Honestly don't know if I'll ever love AFL again the way I used to.

Cancelled my 5 seats in 2018, wrote and explained why, multiple times over the next several years as they tried to talk me back. Then, as now, I will buy them back the moment Ken is gone, but not until. I really miss going, but as I see it, it's the only practical way I can express my disgust.
