Jones was heart and soul and perhaps saved the club from oblivion, but Gawn is one of the best rucks of all-time, our best player of the modern era and captained the club to its first flag in 57 years (with one of the all-time great finals performances in the prelim).

Love you Chunk, but Gawn pretty comfortably.

Both gave me some of my favourite footy memories.

I vote for Jeff Farmer. Potentially the most entertaining Melbourne player of my lifetime. Remember having this on my wall for years View attachment 1857580
Patsy! You’ve been taken for a ride.

Best, not most entertaining.

Was watching the entire game of Neitz 200th on YouTube bored at work the other day, **** he was unreal, just murdered both Dogs opponents. 7.3 and one OOBOTF. Pretty entertaining game all around too, huge hanger from Robbo in the square going back with the flight, one of his finest that never gets talked about. Footy was genuinely fun back then.

Recap of just Neitz's day

Robbo's mark @ 19:30

The Armstrong kick at 1:53, pure footy.

EDIT: and the Green kick at 3:10. Good kicking to full-forwards leading into space. I miss that so much.

That's Premiership player Steven Armstrong thank you
