Still had to stay healthy. That’s an achievement.Gifted a flag by umpires. Ergo, gimp flag.

First two rounds have been great from Rowell but hasn't shown it consistently like the other four yetFunny how no one rated Rowell last season. Not sure a lot ha changed. He's still an incredible clearance player, but doesn't come close to most others on the list when it comes to skill or impact on the game
Jackson
that just sounds saltyJackson is a neanderthal who was cryogencially thawed that we happened to teach football.
that just sounds salty
Yeah he can put his name alongside the others here in time but currently i was surprised how many in this thread were putting him ahead of others. He has had a few extra years compared to someone like Daicos and yet to have a season as good as either of the years Daicos has put together.Funny how no one rated Rowell last season. Would take Butters and Rozee above Walsh and Rowell.
In all honesty based on the past 18 months, Walsh should’ve on this list at the moment.
Good finals last year but otherwise nothing standout the last 18 months due to his injury concerns.
Objectively I'm taking any of Butters, Rozee, Anderson or Serong above walsh here if we're choosing a top 5 from 2018 onward.
Not to forget Rowell and Serong literally got tasked with tagging Walsh that year. Hasn't had a clean run since.Very short memory. Walsh got 30 Brownlow votes and 92 coaches votes leading our midfield in his third season.
Injuries definitely a concern.

I mean it in a good way.
He's a freakishly good athlete.
Butters literally won the coaches vote for best player in the league last year. Was also voted by players as most courageous in the league. He's done nothing to suggest he won't go up another level this year also. To suggest Rowell is ahead on the back of 2 games is borderline delusional.Butters and Rozee are obviously top liners.
But Rowell is starting to hit his u/18 football performances.
If he does that, even at their current levels, that's a level above Butters and Rozee.
