Pretty simple - who is your favourite current Hawthorn player and why.

I would do a poll, but I doubt I could list all of our players, and since I am an inclusive kinda guy, I dont want anyone to feel left out.
I will tally up the votes in a week or so and post a progress score.

No 3-2-1's - its not the Brownlow.
Just your current favourite player

My favourite current Hawk is Luke Bruest

The guy is a gun.
Love his front and centre work, and the way he hits the front with pace - is there anyone better in the competition than this bloke.
Great set shot
Consistent performer
Love his agility and how he moves his body this way and that to shake off an opponent to buy himself a meter or 2 to get a shot at goal.

You never hear about him the media because he has been up to no good.
Seems like a genuine nice bloke

Tom Mitchell - It's probably the obvious answer, but still an easy one for me.

Guy is a gun, our best player. Love watching him play and i have always been a fan of workhorses. 90% game time as a full time mid, he tackles and runs all day. Never have to worry about his effort and is our most consistent player. Just screams future captain of the club.

Love what he did last year as well, first year at the club and he stood up big time to carry us when the team was at it's lowest point in a long time. If it wasn't for him last year would have been a lot worse and i think he is a massive reason for why we have improved this season.

Blake Hardwick. He was my favourite of the new breed last year. This year he has taken it to another level. Composed and clean when he needs to be, tough as nails and a little enforcer when the occasion calls for it too. Has more than earned the 15. Rocks the best mullet in the side.

James Sicily rocketed to second on the list when he had no qualms letting Treloar know what a dickhead he was in round 1, followed that up with getting stuck into Duckwood a couple of times and then asking Daniher for the high five after his goal assist. You can't not love that level of prickery.

Had to give you a like for using the word prickery.

Hard to go past Burgoyne, but I've also developed a soft spot for this kid who averages 35+ touches a week

JOM leading the pack at the moment, Sic is a very close 2nd with Worpedo climbing very quickly. I have a soft spot for Lovell but I dont think he will be on our list next year.

Am in the market for a new favourite player - so this is timely.

Loving Ryan Burton and Big Cis. Also Worpel has fave written all over him.

Dunno yet. When the season is done and I realise Cyril is really gone, I’ll find myself a new favourite.

To hard just to pick one

But over the moon with jaeger at the moment can’t wait to see what he does with another full pre season

Also excited that shoey has taken this chance so far hopefully an extension isn’t far away
